In this rapidly-expanding part of the iBasis portfolio, you have an opportunity to help grow iBasis into the market leader in IoT connectivity and connectivity management.THE ROLE: This role is responsible for the delivery, stability, and evolution of SAP ERP financial systems, billing integrations, invoicing automation, contract management platforms, and QA for voice management tools. The position provides strong India-based leadership and backup coverage for revenue-critical systems, while partnering closely with the Finance organization, third-party vendors, and global IT/IS stakeholders to ensure reliability, compliance, and continuous improvement.RESPONSIBILITIES:1. SAP ERP – Financial Systems Ownership Own the technical implementation, enhancement, and day-to-day operations of SAP ERP used primarily by the iBASIS Finance team. Act as the primary IT/IS partner to Finance for SAP-related needs, enhancements, and operational support. Lead SAP feature management, including requirement intake from Finance, prioritization, design coordination, and release planning. Plan and execute SAP upgrades, patches, and support packs in coordination with Finance users and vendors. Ensure system stability, performance, compliance, and audit readiness. Provide operational support during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close cycles.2. SAP Vendor & Partner Management Serve as the primary interface with third-party SAP vendors and system integrators. Govern vendor delivery across: Functional and technical enhancements, Defect resolution, SAP upgrades and maintenance activities. Ensure adherence to SLAs, delivery timelines, quality standards, and cost controls. Review vendor solution designs, testing approach, and deployment readiness. Drive knowledge transfer and reduce long-term vendor dependency.3. Billing Integrations & Invoicing Automation Own the execution, monitoring, and reliability of semi-automated invoicing jobs for Voice, Mobile, and SMS products. Ensure accurate and timely invoice posting into SAP. Monitor batch jobs, integrations, and upstream/downstream dependencies. Lead root-cause analysis for failures and implement sustainable corrective actions. Improve automation, monitoring, and resilience of invoicing workflows.4. iFlow Contract Management System Oversee application support, maintenance, and minor enhancements for the iFlow contract management workflow system. Provide user support and coordinate changes with business stakeholders. Ensure documentation, workflow integrity, and operational continuity.5. Quality Assurance Leadership – Voice Management Tools Lead the QA team supporting voice management, billing, and financial applications. Define QA strategy, test planning, regression coverage, and automation roadmap. Ensure high-quality releases with minimal production defects. Collaborate with architecture and delivery teams to embed quality-by-design practices.6. Operational Governance & Continuity Provide India-based leadership and backup coverage for business-critical systems. Maintain strong SOPs, runbooks, and operational documentation. Participate in incident management, audits, and compliance activities. Support financial controls, reconciliations, and audit requirements as needed.7. Continuous Improvement & Collaboration Identify opportunities to: Increase automation, Reduce manual effort, Strengthen controls and monitoring, Improve scalability and resilience. Collaborate with Architecture, Security, Data, and Infrastructure teams on system improvements. Support gradual operational maturity and process standardization.QUALIFICATIONS: Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Finance Systems, or a related discipline Master’s degree (MBA / MS / MTech) – preferred, especially with Finance or Systems focusSAP certifications (FI/CO, Technical, Integration) – preferred but not mandatoryExperience: 14–18+ years of experience in SAP ERP, financial systems, or enterprise application leadership. Strong experience with SAP Finance technical implementations and upgrades. Proven experience managing third-party SAP vendors and system integrators. Hands-on exposure to billing systems, invoicing, and financial integrations. Experience leading QA teams supporting business-critical applications.
