The role focuses on drivingprofitable growth ,improving market presence , andexecuting joint business plansthrough strong account management, analytics‑driven decision making, and excellent stakeholder collaboration.Key Responsibilities1. Key Account Management & Growth Manage end‑to‑end relationships with assignednational modern trade key accounts . Drivesales, distribution, and visibility goalsacross categories and SKUs. Ownannual joint business plans (JBPs)with key customers and track execution rigorously. Ensure alignment betweencustomer strategy and company growth priorities . 2. Commercial Negotiation & Trade Terms Lead discussions oncommercial agreements , including listing fees, trading terms, margins, and promo investments. Managepromotions, discounts, and visibility spendsto deliver ROI‑positive outcomes. Coordinate with finance and supply chain teams to ensurecommercial compliance and controls . 3. Execution Excellence Work closely with regional sales, supply chain, and customer service teams to ensureflawless executionat store level. Monitoron‑shelf availability, planogram adherence, and secondary salesperformance. Track and resolveservice level, fill rate, and supply constraintsimpacting customers. 4. Analytics & Business Insights Analyzesales performance, shopper trends, promotional effectiveness , and category dynamics. Use data to identifygrowth levers , whitespace opportunities, and corrective actions. Prepareperiodic business reviewsand senior‑leadership presentations. 5. Cross‑Functional Collaboration Partner withMarketing, Trade Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Demand Planningteams. Participate innew product launchesand go‑to‑market initiatives for modern trade. Graduation in any discipline. Experience 1–3 years of experienceinModern Trade saleswithin an FMCG organization. Hands‑on exposure tonational or key modern trade accountssuch as Reliance, DMart, More, etc. Experience in handlingJBPs, promotions, and customer negotiationsis desirable.
