The role demands deep knowledge of modern data platforms, cloud technologies, and big data frameworks to design scalable, secure, and high-performing data solutions.Accountabilities:Design and implement scalabledata architecturesolutions across cloud and hybrid environments. LeverageDatabricksfor data processing, analytics, and machine learning workflows. Collaborate with engineering and business teams to translate requirements intodata models and pipelines . Orchestrate and monitorETL workflowsusingApache Airflow . Ensuredata security, compliance, and governance standardsare met. Optimize data storage, processing, and querying forperformance and cost efficiency . Providetechnical leadershipand mentor teams on data best practices.Essential Skills / Experience:10+ years indata architecture and analytics . Strong expertise inDatabricks . Proficiency withAWS cloud platformand integrating Databricks with them. Solid understanding ofdata engineering, ETL, and data modellingprinciples. AdvancedSQLfor querying, transformation, and analysis. Proficiency inPythonscripting, automation, and data manipulation. Strong hands-on experience withApache Airflowfor workflow orchestration. Familiarity withbig data technologies(Spark, Hadoop, etc.). Knowledge ofdata warehousing concepts and best practices . Proficiency inversion control systems(Git). Excellentcommunication and collaboration skills .Desirable Skills / Experience:Relevantcertifications in Databricks and cloud platforms . Experience definingdata governance frameworks . Exposure toadvanced ML/AI use caseswith Databricks. Hands-on work withcontainerization/orchestration tools(Docker, Kubernetes).--
