Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Mechanical or Chemical Engineer with strong project management skills in the pharmaceutical sector. The ideal candidate should be capable of managing multidisciplinary projects, have excellent grasping abilities, and work effectively within a team-oriented environment.Key Responsibilities: Conduct client meetings to gather project requirements, inputs, and fully understand the detailed project scope. Manage a team of Engineers and Designers, ensuring efficient workflow and project deliverables. Coordinate and collaborate with multiple disciplines to ensure seamless project execution. Working out overall project cost estimate for planning purpose. Serve as the single point of contact for all client communications, ensuring clarity and alignment with project objectives. Understand and apply basic Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements for pharmaceutical projects. Demonstrate a basic understanding of HVAC, mechanical, and electrical systems relevant to pharmaceutical facility design. Develop facility layouts, plot plans, and fundamental men/material and HVAC layouts. Create and maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project (MSP) and track project progress against timelines. Generate comprehensive project reports and monitor project change controls to ensure scope adherence. Work closely with internal departments to meet project deliverables on time. Coordinate with vendors, conduct Technical Bid Analysis (TBA) and Commercial Bid Analysis (CBA) as part of the procurement process.Qualifications: Bachelors / Masters Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering. Strong understanding of pharmaceutical facility design and GMP requirements.Experience: 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in project management. Experience in an engineering consultancy background within the pharmaceutical sector is highly preferred. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
