The mission is to drive profitable revenue growth within the Mobility Accounts in the region. The core responsibility will be to: Drive the overall Mobility Growth Strategy Identify and close new business opportunities with targeted customers. Team ManagementThe Head of Sales & BD will be the lead commercial face of the company within the region. This role will be leading a team of people in Account Management, Business Development, Field Application Engineers and Inside Sales.Main Responsibilities Lead the Mobility Sales and Business Development for the region, responsible for OEM, Tier 1, Giga factories and focused startup customers. You will be responsible for managing a team working directly with regional customers on new business opportunities in developing a commercially viable engineered solution. Build strong customer relationships and strategic partnerships to assess customer needs and solutions. Foster early project involvement to ensure Ennovi becomes a preferred supplier at the targeted customers. Transition the regional sales from a “Build to Print” (B2P) to “Build to spec” through developing solutions and proposals for unique applications, working with customers’ engineers, Product Portfolio Directors (PPD), Ennovi Product Development (IPD) and Ennovi Technical Innovation Center (TIC). Collaborate design assistance with customers for “Build to Print (B2P)” business in order to enhance our chances of winning. Translate customer requirements to product requirements, articulating a clear, differentiated, compelling value proposition, including solution, product, technology, and financial value. Influence both internal and external customers and partners on customer technical requirements and selection of product specs and features. Work with and drive internal sales APQP, manufacturing and development teams to determine the feasibility of specific new products or features and ensure customer specifications are met. Run technical seminars at customers, to internal sales and exhibitions to promote Ennovi. Provide value added engineering and application solutions to customers and resolve application/technical problems if any by utilizing the various engineering channels within Ennovi. Achieve and exceed Budget Sales and Gross Margin for mobility segment. Ensure all reports, plans, forecasts, and administrative requirements are completed accurately and in a timely manner both personally and for the team. Meet all reporting deadlines as are set by senior management. Identify target segments where market share is low and produce a plan to target and grow sales in each of these segments. Develop and deploy the Key Account strategy, supported by individual Key Account plans. Identify new and profitable opportunities with existing customers and leverage these to increase profitable sales with them. Provide regular and relevant feedback on Market conditions, competitor activities and progress towards business objectives. Analyse the current market position, i.e., the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.Key Skills & Qualifications Engineering degree in Mechanical or Electronics. At least 10 years (senior ccds will be considered) of automotive industry work experience in managing and building partnerships with OEM and Tier 1 Accounts (E.V 2-wheeler / 3wheeler or 4wheeler business accounts within India). Highly motivated, creative and have excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong technical background in Automotive, Electronics and Manufacturing Industry with an in-depth understanding of automotive products, its applications and its manufacturing concepts. Experience working directly with customers in an application based selling environment developing solutions to customer requirements. An engineering background with a thorough understanding of the manufacturing technologies and material selection of plastic moulded and over-moulded components, small precision non-ferrous metal components parts and high-speed progressive stamping. In-depth understanding of current market trends and major players leading the trends. Comfortable presenting to customer cross functional teams and to a large audience company capabilities and technical topics as relates to evolving Mobility technologies. Creative and innovating thinking based on facts and an analytical approach. Strong presentation and negotiation skills. Confidence and a persuasive manner. Tight organizational, time management and reporting skills. Great business sense and the ability to work to top line and bottom-line sales targets. Willing to travel frequently to other regions including international. Demonstrated ability to research, size, and prioritize recommendations of new business and partnership opportunities.
