Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quality Engineer role located in Ambernath Dist. Thane Conduct quality inspections for static equipment in accordance with ASME, API, and project specifications Perform and interpret Level II NDT including RT, UT, MT, and PT Review drawings, ITPs, WPS, and inspection procedures Monitor fabrication, welding, erection, and testing activities Identify non-conformances and ensure timely corrective actions Prepare and maintain inspection reports and quality records Coordinate with clients, third-party inspectors, and site teams Ensure compliance with HSE and quality management systems. . The role also requires maintaining documentation for audits and inspections. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering NDT Level II certified in RT, UT, MT, and PT (ASNT / ISO / PCN or equivalent) Minimum X years of experience in QC inspection of static equipment Strong knowledge of ASME, API, ASTM, and relevant international codes Experience in fabrication, erection, and inspection of pressure vessels, tanks, heat exchangers, and piping Familiar with ITPs, WPS, PQR, and quality documentation Good coordination and communication skills
