Become part of our global team: You make the difference -YOUMAKEUSShort Description As an Engineer, you will be responsible for managing "After Treatment System" engineering projects and requirements. Your expertise will be pivotal in enabling designs for new age commercial vehicles engines.Role Description Strong understanding of Truck Aftertreatment Systems (ATS) including components such as DPF, SCR, sensors, dosing systems and overall system function. In depth domain knowledge in emission control technologies. Basic awareness of engine and emission control processes and their interaction with ATS. Knowledge of design and validation processes for aftertreatment components, including durability and compliance requirements. Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve ATS component issues. Proven ability to collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams for component & application release. Ability to negotiate with respect to product ownership for work coordination, identifying, troubleshooting technical and cross-functional issues. Able to understand different stakeholder roles of a component development process and series management Good understanding of GD&T basics and ability to read and interpret technical drawings.Key responsibilities Understand project requirements and ensure alignment with overall objectives, deliverables and timelines. Execute assigned tasks and deliverables within the project module, meeting quality and performance expectations. Own development and implementation of a specific project module related to Truck ATS . Work as a fully contributing team member, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and suppliers under broad supervision. Analyze and solve complex problems using standard engineering principles and best practices. Bring innovative ideas relevant to aftertreatment system design, diagnostics, and compliance to improve product performance. Perform DMU packaging of ATS components, ensuring proper integration, accessibility, and compliance with packaging standards. Series management; change -packages Dosing & documentation, CAD-data quality checks, Preparation of change/ engineering release order Document and report progress on assigned modules, ensuring transparency and timely communication with stakeholders. Need to support team for Quality Management System process adherence Effective in cross-departmental interactions for project-related activitiesSupporting experince skills Proficient in NX, SMARAGD, or equivalent PLM tools Familiarity with MB release processes (Safira, TB Viewer, TB Planner) would be added advantage Skilled in Power BI for data visualization and reporting Strong ability to foster collaboration within teams Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality standards Flexibility to work across global time zones (Europe / North and South America) Skilled in process documentation aligned with standard requirements Ability to build trust-based relationships with partners and collaborate closely with teams Experience in working with external engineers would be added advantageQualifications B.E/ B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or relevant withminimum 2 yearsexperience
