Designation: Finance Operations (International Business) Business Unit: Working Professional Location: Mumbai (Andheri-Marol) Salary: 6-8 LPAAbout the Role The Senior Associate – Finance Operations will support and execute end-to-end finance operations for upGrad International, covering provisioning, PO management, invoicing, payouts, MIS reporting, cost analysis, and P&L tracking. This role is hands-on and execution-focused, with increasing ownership over accuracy, timeliness, reporting discipline, and process improvements, enabling business teams and leadership to make data-backed financial decisions across international markets.Key Responsibilities 1. Finance Operations & Execution Execute SME provisioning, PO creation, invoicing, payouts, and ledger maintenance for international programs and partners. Ensure accurate booking of costs and revenues in line with accounting policies and internal controls. Support monthly closures and assist in reconciliation of program-level financials. 2. MIS Reporting & Tracking Prepare and maintain weekly and monthly MIS reports covering costs, revenues, margins, and variances. Own and maintain finance trackers (vendors, payouts, accruals, invoicing status) with high data integrity. Reduce manual effort through structured templates and automation where possible. 3. Payments & Coordination Coordinate with central Finance and external stakeholders to ensure timely domestic and international payments. Ensure completeness and accuracy of documentation for cross-border payments and compliance requirements. Track payment timelines and proactively flag delays or documentation gaps. 4. Budgeting, AOP & P&L Support Support AOP and budgeting exercises through data compilation, validation, and analysis. Track P&L performance against Budget/AOP at program and market levels. Prepare budget vs actual variance analysis with clear commentary and root-cause identification. 5. Cost Analysis & Process Improvement Assist in building and maintainingcost modelsfor programs and markets. Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and leakage in finance processes; recommend improvements.
