Role:We are looking for an experiencedMongoDB Database Administratorwith strong expertise in managing on-premise MongoDB deployments. Managereplica sets ,sharding , andhigh availabilityconfigurations. Performbackup and restoreoperations using MongoDB tools (e.g., mongodump, mongorestore, Ops Manager). Monitor database performance and implementindexing strategiesandquery optimization . Ensuredata security , including authentication, authorization, and SSL/TLS encryption. Plan and executepatching ,upgrades , andmigrationactivities. Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues promptly. Implementdisaster recoveryandbusiness continuity plans . Collaborate with development teams for schema design and performance improvements. Strong knowledge ofbackup/recovery tools ,performance tuning , andhigh availability solutions . Proficiency inSQL scriptingand automation usingShell, Python, or PowerShell . Understanding ofsecurity best practicesand compliance standards. Experience withMongoDB Enterprise features . Knowledge ofautomation and scripting(Shell, Python). Exposure tocloud migration(AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. MongoDB Certified DBA or similar certification. Desired qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. 7+ years of experienceas a MongoDB DBA in on-premise environments. Total exp ofaround 9 to 15 yrs Strong knowledge ofMongoDB architecture ,replication , andsharding . Experience withLinux administration(Ubuntu, RHEL, etc.). Proficiency inbackup/recovery strategiesandperformance tuning . Familiarity withMongoDB Ops Manageror similar monitoring tools. Knowledge ofsecurity best practicesfor MongoDB. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
