In this role, you’ll work directly with customers to resolve past-due accounts through respectful communication, clear education, and flexible repayment solutions — always in compliance with regulations. You’ll play a vital role in both customer trust and company success.What You’ll Do • Proactively manage past-due accounts and follow up with customers via phone, email, and written communication. • Engage customers with empathy and professionalism to understand their financial situation. • Offer and negotiate repayment options such as installment plans or settlements within company guidelines. • Clearly explain balances, fees, interest charges, and how account status may impact credit. • Process payments securely and assist customers with recurring or automatic payment setups. • Maintain accurate, thorough documentation of all customer interactions and agreements. • Work escalated or sensitive accounts calmly and effectively. • Identify trends, risks, or opportunities for improving the collections experience. Compliance Matters Here • Conduct all collection activity in full compliance with FDCPA, FCRA, and applicable regulations. • Safeguard sensitive customer information and maintain strict confidentiality. • Uphold Neu Money’s standards — no aggressive, deceptive, or unfair practices. What We’re Looking For • 1–3 years of experience in collections, customer support, or a call center environment. • Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. • Ability to lead difficult conversations with patience and empathy. • Working knowledge of collections regulations (FDCPA, FCRA preferred). • Comfortable using CRM, collections software, and dialer systems. • Organized, detail oriented, and committed to accurate documentation. • Open to feedback, continuous learning, and growth. • Startup or FinTech experience is a plus, but not required. Work Location & Schedule • Full time, onsite position. • Schedule: Monday through Saturday, 09:30 PM – 6:30 AM IST
