Location:Bengaluru (with frequent site & factory travel) Experience: 5–7 years Company:Akvo Atmospheric Water Systems Pvt. Ltd.About AkvoAkvo designs and deploysdecentralized water infrastructure systems , including atmospheric water generators and integrated water solutions. Our projects spancommercial, industrial, hospitality, institutional, and public-sector sitesacross India and international markets.Projects at Akvo aremulti-disciplinary by nature —involving mechanical systems, electrical & power infrastructure, civil coordination, logistics, commissioning, and post-installation performance.We are looking for aProject Headwho can take complete ownership ofplanning, execution, delivery, and handoverof Akvo’s projects—on time, on cost, and to spec.Role OverviewThe Project Head is responsible forend-to-end executionof all assigned projects from:Order closure → engineering coordination → manufacturing → site deployment → commissioning → handover.This is afield-facing leadership role , not a desk-only position.You will be the single point of accountability fordelivery success .Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & ExecutionOwn themaster project planfor all live projects. Translate sales orders into executable project schedules. Define timelines, milestones, dependencies, and critical paths. Ensure projects are deliveredon time and within approved budgets .Cross-Functional CoordinationCoordinate with:Factory & manufacturing teams (Chennai) Electrical, mechanical, and IoT teams Vendors, fabricators, and logistics partners Site contractors and client facility teams Resolve inter-departmental bottlenecks proactively.Site Execution & CommissioningOversee:Site readiness (power, civil, drainage, access) Installation and commissioning activities Electrical and safety compliance at site Ensure smooth commissioning and stable performance before handover. Conduct site visits across India (and occasionally overseas).Vendor & Contractor ManagementIdentify, onboard, and manage:Electrical contractors Civil contractors Transport and crane vendors Control quality, timelines, and costs. Approve work completion and vendor payments in line with milestones.Cost, Risk & Quality ControlTrack project-wise costs vs budgets. Identify risks early (technical, logistical, client-side). Implement mitigation plans. Ensure adherence to Akvo’s quality and safety standards.Client & Internal CommunicationAct as the primarydelivery interfacefor clients post-order. Provide regular project status updates to management. Manage escalations calmly and professionally. Ensure documentation and handover protocols are followed.Process & ScaleImprove project execution SOPs as Akvo scales. Standardize installation and commissioning playbooks.
