The Global Service Delivery Manager – Data is accountable forend-to-end transition, stabilization, and run of Sodexo’s global data servicesdelivered through GBS. This role ensures that data platforms, pipelines, and analytics products areoperationally sound, cost-efficient, and scalable , enabling consistent service delivery across regions while supporting Sodexo’sGlobal Data Hub operating model . This role acts as thefinal accountability layer between build teams, business and Run teamsensuring data services are production-ready and sustainably operated.Work Location: Mumbai / GurgaonKey Responsibilities:1. Transition & Production Readiness (Core Accountability) Owntransition of data platforms and data productsfrom build teams, SIs, and regions into GBS. Define and executestructured transition planscovering: Knowledge transfer Support models (L2/L3) Runbooks, SOPs, and operational KPIs Leadproduction readiness and Go-Live / Go-Run sign-off , challenging build teams on supportability. Ensure monitoring, alerting, access, and DR procedures are in place before acceptance into BAU. 2. Global Run & Service Operations OwnBAU operationsfor global data services across Azure / Databricks platforms. Ensure stable operation ofdata ingestion, integration, transformation, and analytics workloads . Leadincident, problem, and change managementusing ITIL-aligned practices. Drive reduction ofincident volume, MTTR, and recurring failuresthrough root cause analysis.3. Service Governance & SLA Management Define, track, and reportSLAs, OLAs, and KPIsfor data services. Establish clearservice ownership and RACIacross GBS, regions, and vendors. Providetransparent service reportingto global and regional stakeholders. Ensure compliance withdata governance, security, and audit requirements .4. Vendor & AMS Management Managerun-mode vendors, AMS partners, and offshore/onshore teams . Ownvendor performance, commercials, and SLA compliance . Drivecost-to-serve optimizationwithout compromising service quality. Ensure smooth collaboration betweeninternal GBS teams and external partners .5. Continuous Improvement & Run Optimization Identify opportunities toautomate BAU operations , improve monitoring, and reduce manual interventions. Standardize run practices across regions and data domains. Supportplatform upgrades, minor enhancements, and patchesin run mode. Contribute toplatform reliability and resilience roadmap .6. Stakeholder & Regional Engagement Act as thesingle accountable owner for run stabilityfor business and regions. Partner closely withRegional Data Hub Headsto manage expectations and priorities. Support onboarding ofnew regions, domains, or data productsinto GBS.
