Job Title: Quality Control Analyst, Water Chemistry Lab Reporting To: Senior Engineer-Chemical Location: GEC-NoidaPosition Requirements. Job Overview The Quality Control Analyst – Chemistry Instruments is responsible for testing, evaluating, and validating newly developed chemical analysis instruments and laboratory devices. The role ensures that new instruments meet required performance, accuracy, reliability, and safety standards before release to customers or mass production. The candidate will collaborate with R&D, design engineers, quality teams, and application chemists to perform method‑based testing, prototype evaluation, performance benchmarking, and detailed documentation. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical chemistry experience and hands‑on proficiency with advanced analytical instruments. Experience in testing water‑based sensors and water‑parameter analysis would be highly beneficial.Product Testing & Evaluation Perform functional testing, performance testing, and stress testing of newly developed analytical instruments Run chemical test methods on prototypes using standards, reagents, and samples relevant to instrument application Validate instrument performance parameters such as accuracy, precision, stability, repeatability, sensitivity, LOD/LOQ, etc 2. Prototype & Design Verification Execute Design Verification (DV) and Design Validation (DV) test plans for new instruments Identify product issues, deviations, or defects and provide detailed feedback to R&D and design teams Support multi‑stage prototype testing (Alpha, Beta, and pre‑launch evaluations) 3. Instrument Calibration & Method Testing Perform calibration and method testing using standard procedures Evaluate instrument response, linearity, drift, reproducibility, and environment‑based performance Assist in developing or refining analytical methods tailored to the new product’s capabilities 4. Technical Reporting & Documentation Prepare test reports, validation summaries, defect logs, performance charts, and documentation for design review Maintain detailed testing records in compliance with R&D and quality standards Contribute to user manuals, troubleshooting guides, and product specifications where required 5. Cross‑Functional Collaboration Work closely with R&D engineers, software teams, quality assurance, and product managers Participate in design review meetings and provide data-driven insights Support the transition of products from prototype stage to pilot manufacturing.Qualifications & Experience Education Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, InstrumentationExperience 2–5 yearsexperience in an analytical chemistry lab or instrumentation testing role Experience in testing water‑based sensors and water parameter analysis would be highly beneficial Hands-on experience with instruments such as UV spec, GCMS, IC, AAS, TGA, DSC, Lab titrators, Auto titrations etc or similar analytical equipment Experience in product testing, validation, or application testing is an advantageTechnical Skills Strong knowledge of chemical testing techniques and laboratory practices Familiarity with calibration standards, method validation parameters, and troubleshooting analytical instruments Ability to interpret scientific data and analyze performance trendsSoft Skills Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Excellent documentation and communication abilities Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary team Curiosity and willingness to understand new technologies and instrument designsKey Competencies Instrument testing & validation Prototype evaluation Data analysis & reporting Quality & compliance mindset Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
