The role involvesdata-backed product selectionaligned with customer needs, market trends, and business objectives.Key Responsibilities Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance design vision with business objectives Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, distributors, and analysts to negotiate pricing, quantities, and timelines Coordinate effectively between design, marketing, and merchandising teams Forecast sales and profitability, and assist in budget planning Stay updated with industry trends, market movements, and best practicesQualifications Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, Merchandising, or a related field 0–1 year of experience in design merchandising or a similar role Strong understanding of product development, fashion trends, and market requirementsEducation Details Graduate or Post-Graduate in Fashion Design / Apparel Merchandising / Textile DesignRequired Skills Design coordination Merchandising and product planning Trend research and analysis Vendor and buyer coordination Strong communication and interpersonal skills
