Location:Bangalore and other possible locationsJob Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Civil Engineer to support the execution of Rainwater Harvesting (RWH) and other water management projects. The role involves site coordination, supervision of civil works, quality monitoring, quantity verification, and support in contractor billing and documentation.The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in water-related infrastructure projects such as RWH systems, water supply networks, drainage works, recharge structures, or similar environmental engineering projects.Key Responsibilities 1. Site Execution & Supervision Supervise day-to-day execution of rainwater harvesting or any other projects including pipeline, plumbing works,recharge pits, trenches, tanks, water treatment units, and other work. Ensure work is carried out as per drawings, specifications, and project timelines. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and skilled/unskilled labor at site. 2. Site Coordination Act as the primary point of coordination between the project manager, design team, and site workforce. Assist in resolving site-related technical issues in consultation with senior engineers. Ensure timely availability of materials and equipment at site. 3. Quality Assurance & Control Monitor quality of materials required at site. Check workmanship and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards. Maintain site quality checklists and inspection records / reports. 4. Quantity Verification & Measurement Take on-site measurements of completed works Prepare and verify quantity calculations for civil works. Maintain measurement books and work progress records. 5. Contractor Billing Support Assist in preparation and verification of contractor running bills based on site measurements. Cross-check quantities with BOQ and approved drawings. Support documentation required for payment processing. 6. Documentation & Reporting Maintain daily site progress reports. Keep records of material consumption, site instructions, and inspections. Assist in preparation of completion reports and as-built documentation. 7. Safety & Compliance Ensure basic site safety practices are followed. Support implementation of environmental and statutory compliance requirements.Required Qualifications Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech in Civil Engineering. 5–6 years of experience inwater-related civil projects(RWH, water supply, drainage, recharge systems, STP pipelines, etc.)Required Skills Basic understanding of civil construction practices and site execution. Knowledge of rainwater harvesting or water infrastructure works preferred. Ability to read civil drawings and BOQs. Familiarity with measurement and billing processes. Basic computer skills (MS Excel, Word, AutoCAD – preferred). Good communication and coordination skills.Preferred Attributes Willingness to work on multiple project sites. Willing to travel/ temporarily relocate to the project city. Problem-solving attitude and attention to detail. Ability to work with contractors and field teams.
