Job Title

Job Summary We are seeking a qualified and licensed Pharmacist responsible for dispensing medications accurately, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining inventory, and providing proper medication guidance to patients/customers. The candidate must be registered with the Gujarat State Pharmacy Council and available for full-time engagement. Key Responsibilities  Dispense prescription and OTC medicines accurately as per doctor’s prescription  Review prescriptions for correct dosage, drug interactions, and contraindications  Counsel patients/customers on medication usage, dosage, side effects, and storage requirements  Maintain prescription records and required documentation  Ensure compliance with Drugs & Cosmetics Act, Pharmacy Act, and applicable state and local regulations  Maintain proper inventory and stock records  Follow FEFO/FIFO practices for stock rotation  Monitor and maintain proper storage conditions including temperature and humidity  Handle and record controlled drugs as per regulatory requirements  Coordinate with doctors, nurses, vendors, and suppliers as required  Support internal and external audits and regulatory inspections  Ensure cleanliness and safety standards in the pharmacy area Educational Qualification  B.Pharm / D.Pharm / M.Pharm from a recognized institution Mandatory Requirements  Must be registered with Gujarat State Pharmacy Council  Valid and active pharmacist registration certificate required  Full-time engagement is mandatory  Name lending or proxy registration is strictly prohibited Required Skills & Competencies  Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical drugs and regulations
