The Strategic Program Management Office (SPMO) is a permanent structure on the Global accounts, responsible for driving continuous innovation and support large-scale complex client projects such as acquisitions or divestitures, and our clients’ strategic project roadmap. The aim is to work across global accounts, leading strategic initiatives aimed at driving consistency of delivery, transformation and business improvement and innovation with our key global clients. The role will act as a Strategic Projects Officer for the Asia-Pacific Part of the EMD / Merck solution at Randstad Sourceright. It is responsible for identifying, prioritising and executing projects that align with both RSR’s strategic and our clients’ objectives. The Incumbent (m/w/d) will act as program management lead supporting the regional account management for Asia Pacific to provide governance and oversight on all strategic initiatives. It will form a cornerstone of the SPMO and will report solid line into the global SPMO Lead.Responsibilities:Strategic planning - Work with Regional CSD, Merck APAC Regional Lead, OpEx and other key stakeholders to define strategic objectives and priorities for key initiatives. Project identification and prioritisation - Lead the identification and evaluation of potential projects across global accounts and assess financial impact on growth and/or retention - Drive swift progress and completion of all assigned projects and tasks - Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, ensuring alignment and support for strategic initiatives. - Liaise with key Client customer stakeholders on alignment of priorities and roadmap - Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of new processes in the global accounts portfolio, tech or org structures resulting from strategic projects. - Partner with GTO/OpEx as required on delivery of operational improvements and best practices. - Establish robust governance structures and reporting mechanisms to provide visibility into project performance (develop dashboards; utilise Smartsheet).Role requirements: ● Provide Project support to instill trust and influence with key stakeholders ● Consistently support the SPMO function to continuously raise the standard of project leadership and upgrade methodologies and bring innovation to delight customers ● Accountable for the successful delivery of multiple simultaneous global projects, spanning multiple functional areas and geographic locations ● Responsible of clear definition of project scope and deliverables, milestones and timeline, project risks and contingency plans ● Collaborates with enterprise-wide business leads at both our Client and our internal company to build and execute well-structured program/project plans ● Use expert communication and leadership skills to establish a common understanding of the project timelines, milestones and expectations on delivery. ● Provides direction to project resources, monitors efforts, assembles key project deliverables and identifies issues and risks requiring escalation when reporting project status ● Schedules and facilitates project status meetings and advises management on project status, risk and mitigation including executive reporting. Facilitates problem resolution ● Communicates project implementation options, schedule, quality and risk to stakeholders, as well as offer recommendations based on these elements ● Develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents showcasing value delivery ● Plan, schedule and track project timelines using appropriate tools ● Collaborate with our Operational Excellence Function and Professional Services on project approach and project delivery ● Understand the Randstad Specialization Framework and Partner for Talent strategy and knows how to involve the right area of our business for growth opportunities and innovative Global Client solutions ● Know and follow all laws and policies that apply to the role, and maintain the highest levels of professionalism, ethics and compliance at all times. ● Diligently participate in our compliance program-related activities as denoted by your manager ● Additional duties as assignedProfessional Experience Required: ● 7-10 years experience managing execution, business or software projects ideally associated with the procurement function or talent acquisition for large global enterprise organizations● Proven exceptional written and oral presentation skills ● Demonstrated ability to lead across multiple business organizations, including global and enterprise-wide projects. ● Experience in a regulated environment or similarEducation Requirements: ● Master’s Degree in Business or related field ● Certificates in Program/Project Management will enhance candidacy but are not a requirementOther Requirements: ● Strong knowledge and skills in MS Office ● Must be highly organized, creative, articulate and analytical ● Strong interpersonal and diplomatic skills ● Ability to multi-task independently with minimal supervision ● Must have solid understanding of project management methodologies
