Adani Solar: Adani Solar is India's 1st and largest vertically integrated solar PV manufacturer with 4 GW cells & modules and 2 GW of ingots & wafers manufacturing capacities Job Purpose: The Shift Engineer - Stringer is responsible for optimizing operations within the stringer production cluster by fostering team development, ensuring customer satisfaction, and adhering to the annual business plan. This role emphasizes sustainable practices and market growth, contributing to the organization's long-term success. By implementing effective strategies and promoting a safe work environment, the Shift Engineer plays a key role in enhancing productivity and operational excellence. Responsibilities Lead the the Mechanical Engineering of Process and Utility Packages (e.g. Water Packages/ Gas Packages/ASUs / Process Exhaust / PUW / ETP /STP / HVAC etc ) discipline in timely manner. • Coordination with Engineering/EPC suppliers/Consultants for Project related activities to ensure timely completion of design and engineering of all type of mechanical equipment. •Shall have good knowledge of developing plant layout at concept stage and detail engineering stage. • Knowledge of Metallic and Non metallic piping systems including high Purity & Ultra high purity services. • Review of Engineering Design basis / Tender Specifications / Technical Bid Evaluations / Post Order Vendor print review and approvals of all type of Mechanical Equipment. Preparation/review of As built engineering documents of the equipment/ packages. • Multi disciplinary coordinate with Civil, Electrical and Control& Instrumentation team for the finalization of Design and Engineering activities • Candidate shall have previous exposure to engineering of Utility projects and shall have good knowledge of international codes and standards • Exposure to latest engineering software like PV Lites ,AutoCAD, SP3D, PDS, RAVITetc is desirable • Coordination with site commissioning & erection team , resolving engineering issues , design change notes review on site in line with the discussions with OEM / Engineering Consultants / Process Licensors etc.. . • Completing quality assurance on all engineering deliverables and their implementations in projects, and weekly/fortnight/monthly engineering progress reports. • Ensuring all deadlines and budgetary requirements are met. • Adopt robust safety practice while selection of mechanical equipment to avoid any consequences at site • Follow the schedule and Share the progress MIS to senior management • Lead and drive to achieve the targets • To provide training and support to site team & GETs • Safety awareness and implementation. • Familiar with HSE, QMS , HAZOP ,Safety Studies and Value Engineering.. • Follow necessary compliances as per HSE/QMS guideline. • Facilitates necessary support during statutory approvals from authorities. • Good leadership and team management abilities • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Problem-solving mindset and decision-making skills • Ability to work effectively and meet deadlines • Collaborative approach and strategic thinking Qualifications Educational Qualification: B.Tech -Mechanical Desired Qualification : BE/B.Tech- Mechanical Work Experience (Range Of Years) Min 12 - 18 years of Engineering Design experience
