Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and scripting languages. Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent. Knowledge of RESTful APIs and experience with API testing tools like Postman. Understanding of Agile methodologies and practices. Experience with version control systems like Git. Overall Responsibilities: Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure high-quality software releases. Participate in requirement analysis, design discussions, and provide input from a QA perspective. Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution. Continuously improve test coverage, efficiency, and effectiveness of the QA process. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in QA and automated testing. Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in automated testing with a strong focus on Cypress. Proven track record in a QA role with hands-on experience in automation testing. Experience in testing web applications and APIs. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Professional certifications in QA/testing (ISTQB, CSTE) are a plus.QUALIFICATION: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
