As we scale, we are looking for a sharp, detail-obsessed, and execution-drivenNew Product Development Managerto own products from concept to commercialization.Role Overview TheNew Product Development Specialistwill be responsible for end-to-end execution of new skincare products—right from ideation and R&D to 3rd party production, packaging procurement, quality assurance, and supply chain coordination. This role is equal partsscience, systems, and scale . You will act as the central bridge between formulation labs, manufacturers, packaging vendors, QA, and internal supply chain & logistics teams—ensuring timely launches, cost efficiency, minimal wastage, and uncompromised quality. Key Responsibilities 1. Skincare New Product Development ·Lead new product development from concept, formulation brief, trials, and stability testing to final sign-off ·Work closely with formulators, labs, and manufacturers to developsafe, stable, efficacious, and regulatory-compliantproducts ·Evaluate ingredients, actives, and claims in alignment with SEREKO’s science-led positioning ·Manage multiple product pipelines simultaneously (new launches, reformulations, line extensions)2. Skincare Production & Manufacturing Coordination ·Oversee pilot batches, scale-up trials, and commercial production runs ·Coordinate with contract manufacturers to ensure adherence to formulations, timelines, and quality benchmarks ·Identify and mitigate production risks, bottlenecks, and inconsistencies ·Continuously improve production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce losses3. Packaging Development & Procurement ·Work with packaging vendors to sourcefunctional, aesthetic, and cost-effectiveprimary and secondary packaging ·Ensure packaging compatibility with formulations (stability, leakage, shelf life) ·Manage packaging MOQ planning, cost negotiations, and lead times ·Collaborate with design and marketing teams to translate brand vision into executable packaging4. Quality Assurance & Compliance ·Own product quality across formulation, packaging, and finished goods ·Ensure compliance with Indian cosmetic regulations, safety standards, and internal QA protocols ·Review COAs, MSDS, stability reports, and batch documentation ·Investigate quality issues, complaints, or deviations and drive corrective actions5. Wastage Control & Cost Optimization ·Identify sources of wastage in raw materials, packaging, and production processes ·Implement systems and SOPs to reduce rejections, excess inventory, and production losses ·Track yields, variances, and efficiencies across batches ·Work closely with finance and operations to optimize COGS without compromising quality6. Cross-functional Coordination ·Act as the central point of contact between R&D, production, supply chain, logistics, QA, and internal stakeholders ·Align product timelines with demand planning, inventory, and launch calendars ·Support smooth handover from development to supply chain and ongoing productionQualifications & Experience ·Bachelor’s or Master’s degree inCosmetic Science, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related field ·4–5 years of experiencein new product development within skincare, personal care, or cosmetics ·Hands-on experience working with third-party manufacturers and formulation labs ·Strong understanding of cosmetic ingredients, formulations, and regulatory frameworks in India ·Experience in packaging development and vendor management is highly preferredSkills & Attributes ·Strong project management and multitasking abilities ·Detail-oriented with a high bar for quality and consistency ·Commercially aware with a problem-solving mindset ·Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment ·Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills ·Passion for skincare, science, and building products that truly workJobLocation : Noida, Sector 142
