Electrical System Integrator Location: Bengaluru Work from Office (5 days a week)About Zeno An unprecedented energy transition has begun. To meet 2040 net zero goals, over 2 billion electric two-wheelers (motorcycles) must be sold and $11 trillion in fuel consumption replaced. Zeno is building a tech platform to electrify this two-wheeler market, currently responsible for more than 4% of the world’s GHG emissions. Our mission is to accelerate the energy transition and democratize the benefits across Africa, India, and Latin America. With a focus on East Africa as a starting point, Zeno is building a new energy ecosystem with ground-up development of a fundamentally better electric motorcycle and associated battery swap network to drive a better experience for our customers. The Role Zeno is seeking an Electrical System Integrator to lead end-to-end integration, validation, and functional alignment of all vehicle level electrical and electronic systems across our next-generation electric motorcycle platform. This role ensures seamless compatibility at a overall vehicle level between hardware, software, wiring harness, power electronics, sensors, embedded systems, telematics, and vehicle controls. The position is critical to delivering a robust, safe, and high-performance vehicle level electrical architecture for Zeno’s vehicles. What You’ll Do • Own complete vehicle-level electrical system integration across HV/LV subsystems. • Design, integrate, develop, validate and productionize the vehicle level harness and other elctirical components such as HL, TL, Indicator, DCDC etc. • Develop electrical architecture, communication interfaces, and system topology. • Integrate components including motor controllers, BMS, VCU, chargers, DC-DC converters, sensors, actuators, and telematics units. • Validate CAN/LIN communication, network load, signal mapping, and diagnostic architecture. • Ensure interoperability between hardware and embedded software across ECUs. • Work closely with wiring harness teams for routing, packaging, grounding, fusing, and connector strategy. • Lead system-level DFMEA, functional safety assessments, and hazard analysis (ISO 26262 awareness preferred). • Develop and execute validation plans for vehicle level electrical and electronic systems in sequence of component, subsystem, and vehicle levels. • Drive root-cause analysis of electrical issues (noise, voltage drops, EMI/EMC, communication faults, thermal issues). • Collaborate with software teams on firmware calibration, debugging, and OTA update readiness. • Ensure seamless integration between mechanical packaging, thermal design, and electrical systems. • Work with suppliers to validate compliance with design specifications, DFA, poka-yoke, reliability, durability, and homologation requirements. • Maintain requirement traceability, configuration control, and release integrity through PLM tools. • Work seamlessly with electrical, electronic & software validation team for flawless vehicle level electrical system development. • Support field validation, diagnostics, and improvement loops to ensure robust vehicle behaviour in real-world conditions. What You Bring • 7–10 years of experience in electrical system integration for EVs, automotive, or power electronics-heavy products. • Strong understanding of EV electrical architecture (LV systems, HV systems, power distribution, grounding). • Hands-on experience with CAN/LIN communication, Vector tools, diagnostics, DBC handling, and signal analysis. • Deep experience integrating ECUs—BMS, VCU, MCU, chargers, telematics, instrument cluster, sensors. • Experience with wiring harness development, connectors, fusing, and circuit protection strategies. • Strong exposure to EMI/EMC considerations, noise mitigation, and system robustness engineering. • Experience working with suppliers for electrical components, validation, and compliance. • Familiarity with DFMEA, DVP, APQP documentation, requirement management, and release processes. • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving mindset for complex electrical interactions. • Ability to work cross-functionally with mechanical, software, battery, and testing teams. • I willingness to relocate to Bengaluru with the ability to travel as required for testing and supplier coordination. You Have • A positive attitude and collaborative working style. • A strong teamwork mindset with the ability to own and support multiple responsibilities. • Openness to change with enthusiasm for learning and taking on new challenges. • Excellent communication skills to work with suppliers, engineering teams, and program stakeholders. • Proactive and self-driven working style suited for high-growth, rapidly evolving environments. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail. • A startup mindset—resourceful, adaptive, and capable of out-of-the-box thinking. • Ability to drive and deliver results within evolving processes and dynamic timelines.Benefits • Competitive salary based on experience. • Company-sponsored healthcare plan. • Opportunity to build and lead the electrical integration backbone of a next-generation EV platform. • Join a mission-driven team shaping the trillion-dollar transition of two-wheelers to electric.
