With close to half a million users, it continues to be the fastest-growing digital bank in the region.JOB SUMMARY:TheSenior Platform Owner – Accounts & Clientswill be leading specific areas under Core Banking (viz. Branch office, Integration with channels, Back-office Operations, Retail Banking Products, Islamic Banking Products etc.) within the Core Systems Platform unit. This entails working in Agile methodology and involves management of a number of Product Experts including vendor teams & managing In-House Customizations delivery to business. In this position he coordinates and manages various product teams that will consist of Product Experts, Software Engineers, Solution Architects, Test Engineers and drives successful delivery of projects in the area of Core Banking in line with quality, time and cost targets. The role is also responsible to deliver the application services in the specified Core Banking areas of Accounts & Clients.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform appropriate level of stakeholder management across IT and clients Serve as highest project internal escalation level Ensure projects are aligned to and deliver against the Business objectives Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, in accordance with defined quality management practices, to achieve common objectives Ensure maintaining Data confidentiality Contribute to the yearly IT Roadmap ensuring that project costings and estimates are as accurate as possible. Work with Business representative to ensure alignment of delivery with Business demand Leading the product teams in delivering world class platform solutions Contribute to IT Roadmap cloud journey for Core Banking Ensuring value added proposition in strategic vendor partnerships and aligning vendor product / industry roadmap of platforms with the business strategy thus enabling an effective business growth Acquire, groom and retain talent pertaining to the platform Motivate and lead a team of professionals Promoting diverse culture while sourcing talent Enable National leadership initiatives through grooming the right talentKEY QUALIFICATIONS:10+ years Technical and Business experience. Expertise in relevant technology, implementation and use cases as well as deep knowledge of tools used in the bank specifically in the transactional areas in the scope of Core Banking. Knowledge in advanced technologies used in the customer experience platforms. Additional knowledge of the major strategic priorities of the bank and their implications for technology required Knowledge of Finacle 11.20 (Containerized version) will be a value add. Leadership experience with team size exceeding 10 – 15. Experience in implementing containerized core banking solutions, new-age database and integrations. Modernization of existing core banking to optimize operating cost, enhance scalability and flexibility for faster roll-outs in core banking Experience in applying Agile implementation methodology along with corresponding project management methodology (capacity planning, vendor management, medium scale development coordination) which also comprises management of interfaces and dependencies to other platform teams and also in connection with the agile teams. Additional overview of current testing practices and infrastructure requirements, cost- optimized and fit for purpose early in the development lifecycle.
