Your JobKoch Industries is seeking a GenAI / Agentic AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy autonomous AI agents that transform industrial operations, maintenance workflows, and enterprise back‑office processes across subsidiaries such as GP and Molex.In this role, you will deliver production-grade, scalable agentic AI systems leveraging AWS, AWS Bedrock, and the Databricks Lakehouse, tightly integrated with enterprise platforms (SAP, Salesforce, etc.). You will focus on real business impact, operational reliability, and deployment architectures that comply with enterprise AI governance and security standards.Our TeamYou will work at the intersection of AI engineering, cloud platforms, and enterprise enablement, collaborating closely with product teams, engineers, and business users. Together, the team develops framework‑agnostic, cloud-native agent architectures, enabling reasoning, planning, tool use, and automation of complex end-to-end enterprise processes.What You Will DoDesign and implement autonomous AI agents using LLMs, planning algorithms, and decision-making techniques. Architect multi-agent systems supporting autonomy, interactivity, collaboration, and task orchestration. Integrate agents with enterprise systems, APIs, and workflows (e.g., copilots, chatbots, automation pipelines). Deploy and optimize Foundation Models (FMs) on AWS Bedrock, including FMs with Bedrock AgentCore. Implement RAG architectures using Amazon OpenSearch or Amazon Kendra. Leverage the Databricks Lakehouse for data prep, feature engineering, evaluation, and feedback loops. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance agent capabilities iteratively. Optimize agent behavior using feedback loops, RL concepts, and user interaction signals. Monitor agent performance and implement observability, safety, and governance controls. Maintain clear documentation of architecture, design decisions, and agent logic.Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)5–8+ years of hands-on experience in AI, ML, or advanced data engineering, including GenAI or agentic AI work. Strong proficiency in Python, including building APIs using FastAPI or Flask and working with SQL-based datastores. Proven experience deploying and optimizing Foundation Models on AWS Bedrock, including Bedrock AgentCore for agent orchestration. Hands-on experience building RAG systems using Amazon OpenSearch or Amazon Kendra. Demonstrated ability to design and productionize LLM-powered agent applications on AWS. Solid understanding of agentic AI concepts (planning, reasoning, tool use, memory, multi-agent collaboration). Hands-on experience with Databricks Lakehouse, including Delta tables, notebooks, workflows, MLflow. Knowledge of DevOps & scalable GenAI infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes, scalable inference).What Will Put You AheadExperience with agent frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, or Model Context Protocol (MCP). Prior experience deploying autonomous agents on AWS-native services (Lambda, ECS/EKS, Step Functions). Familiarity with Amazon OpenSearch, Aurora, or DynamoDB for state & knowledge management. Experience in advanced prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and evaluation frameworks. Understanding of reinforcement learning, planning algorithms, and multi-agent coordination. Experience in human–AI interaction, conversational UX, or simulation-driven agent systems. Knowledge of ethical AI, security, and governance in large enterprises.
