National Business Manager – Water, Chemical & Pharmaceutical Location:Bangalore Travel:50% within India Experience:7–15 yearsJob Summary We are looking for a senior techno-commercial leader to drive national business forindustrial oxygen generation and utility solutionsacrossWastewater Treatment, Pharmaceutical and Food & Beverage industries . This role focuses on building and scaling the market for on-site oxygen generation systems throughsolution-led, project-based and BOO (Build-Own-Operate) sales models .Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development Identify and develop business opportunities across: Wastewater treatment Pharmaceutical manufacturing Food & Beverage processing Build market and customer strategies including customer case development and opportunity analysis Lead technical and commercial discussions with customers Prepare and present technical proposals, application summaries and economic evaluations Drive equipment and BOO based project sales Educate customers on industrial oxygen applications and benefits Plan and participate in industry exhibitions, seminars and technical events Build and manage relationships with: Industrial clients Consultants EPC contractors Lead opportunity qualification and analysis using structured decision tools Review and manage national sales pipeline using CRM (Salesforce) Leadership & Team Building Build and lead a national techno-commercial sales team Set targets, monitor performance and drive conversions Conduct regular sales and opportunity reviews Support regional teams in complex bids and strategic accounts Business Planning & Commercial Management Prepare annual budgets and sales forecasts Maintain sales MIS, opportunity and account databases Develop commercial proposals including pricing, costing and project economics Support BOO / project finance discussionsRequired Experience & Qualifications Engineering degree (Mechanical / Chemical / related discipline or BPharm) Business qualification is an added advantage 7–15 years of experience in technical / project sales and bid management Strong background in: Wastewater / water treatment solutions or Pharmaceutical industry solution selling Proven experience in: Industrial utility or process solution sales Project and bid management Commercial and financial proposal preparation Experience in working with consultants and EPC contractors Prior experience in oxygen or industrial gas applications is desirable Experience in leading or building sales teams is preferred Ability to collaborate with cross-functional and global teamsKey Skills & Competencies Strong communication and presentation skills Ability to lead technical and commercial negotiations Analytical and decision-making capability Strong commercial and financial understanding Entrepreneurial and growth-oriented mindset Self-driven and result focusedIndustry Background Preferred: Water & wastewater treatment, pharmaceutical manufacturing, food & beverage processing, industrial utilities, EPC and project-driven solution environments.
