The ideal candidate should be comfortable working across thefrontend and backend , have strong knowledge ofAPIs , and be capable of integrating modern frontend technologies likeReactwith WordPress.Key Responsibilities WordPress & Backend Development Develop customWordPress themes and plugins Customize WordPress usinghooks, filters, shortcodes, and custom post types Work withACF, Gutenberg blocks , and WordPress REST APIs Optimize website performance, security, and scalability Handle database operations and WordPress data structures Frontend Development Build responsive UIs usingHTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+) Develop interactive components usingReact.js(headless WordPress or custom integrations) Convert Figma / Adobe XD designs into pixel-perfect UI Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness API & Integrations Consume and integrateREST APIs(third-party & internal) Build custom APIs usingWordPress REST API Integrate external services (CRM, payment gateways, analytics tools, etc.) General Responsibilities Collaborate with designers, backend teams, and stakeholders Debug, troubleshoot, and fix production issues Follow coding standards, best practices, and version control workflows Participate in code reviews and technical discussions Required Skills Must Have Strong experience withWordPress (Core, Themes, Plugins) Proficiency inPHP Solid knowledge ofHTML, CSS, JavaScript Hands-on experience withReact.js Experience working withREST APIs Understanding ofMySQL / WordPress database structure Familiarity withGit / version control
