The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in life sciences and genomics, with extensive hands-on expertise in NGS library preparation, sequencing, and troubleshooting.Key Responsibilities: NGS wet lab Research Associate/Senior Research Associate performs end-to-end molecular biology workflows. It includes DNA/RNA extraction from varied clinical samples (FFPE, blood) Library preparation, and sequencing on platforms like Illumina. Key responsibilities include stringent QC (Qubit, Bioanalyzer/TapeStation), instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, and strict documentation complying with GLP/CLIA standards.Preferred Skills Nucleic acid extraction and purification DNA and RNA library prep methods, specifically metagenomics Quality control methods (BioAnalyzer, Qubit, Tapestation etc) Experience with labware handling Experience with Illumina, Qiagen, Agilent equipment desirable Working knowledge of PCR assays Use and maintenance of the instrumentsQualifications Skilled pipetting technique Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology or related field preferred 2-3 years of experience in NGS laboratory
