The ideal candidate will manage end‑to‑end project execution, coordinate with cross‑functional teams, ensure alignment with business objectives, and drive successful delivery of insurance applications and platforms on time and within budget.Key Responsibilities: Project Management & Delivery Lead end‑to‑end delivery of IT and digital transformation projects across the insurance value chain (Policy Administration, Claims, Underwriting, Billing, CRM, Digital Portals). Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, budget, and resource plans. Manage project execution using Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies. Track project progress, manage risks/issues/dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure adherence to quality standards, compliance requirements, and organizational governance. Technical & Domain Leadership Act as the key liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and third‑party providers. Translate insurance business requirements into detailed technical specifications. Oversee solution design, development, system integration, testing (SIT/UAT), and production release. Support integration with core insurance systems, data warehouses, APIs, and external service providers. Stakeholder & Vendor Management Manage client and senior stakeholder communication, including status reporting and steering committee updates. Coordinate with onshore/offshore teams and external vendors to ensure seamless delivery. Negotiate scope changes, timelines, and resource requirements when required. Compliance, Risk & Governance Ensure projects comply with insurance regulations, data privacy, and security standards. Perform project audits, documentation, and lessons‑learned sessions. Drive continuous improvement and best practices across project delivery.Required Skills & Competencies: Technical Skills Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and DevOps practices. Experience with insurance core systems (Guidewire, Duck Creek, or equivalent). Knowledge of API integrations, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications. Familiarity with test management, release management, and production support processes. Insurance Domain Expertise Solid understanding of P&C, Life, or Health insurance processes. Experience across policy lifecycle, claims management, underwriting, reinsurance, billing, and regulatory reporting. Project Management Skills Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent risk management, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills. Strong documentation, planning, and reporting capabilities. Soft Skills Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to lead cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment. Strong customer focus and results‑oriented mindset.Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 12-18 yearsof IT experience with5+ yearsas a Project Manager. Mandatory experience in theInsurance domain . Project management certifications such asPMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum (CSM/SAFe)preferred.Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with global insurance clients. Exposure to digital transformation, cloud migration, or data modernization programs. Prior experience managing large‑scale, multi‑vendor programs.
