Position Summary The SDE will ensure suppliers in India and the APAC region consistently deliver high-quality components that meet our technical and product reliability standards. The role will focus on supplier audits, process control, corrective actions, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Conduct supplier quality system and process audits in accordance with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 or equivalent standards. Work directly with suppliers to implement corrective and preventive actions (8D, root-cause analysis). Support new supplier qualification and process capability studies (PPAP, FAI, capability indices). Lead supplier performance reviews and maintain supplier quality metrics (PPM, OTD, SCAR closure). Partner with Commodity Managers to align quality performance with sourcing strategy. Facilitate supplier development programs to improve process robustness and yield. Coordinate containment and resolution of non-conformances and returned material issues. Support engineering change validation and risk assessment. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. >5 years’ experience in supplier quality or manufacturing quality roles within multinational organizations. Familiar with PPAP, FMEA, control plans, and ISO 9001 quality management systems. Knowledge of machining, castings, or electronics manufacturing preferred. Fluent in Hindi and English; strong communication and documentation skills.
