The company remains committed to improving everyday health and wellbeing by building trusted brands, strong capabilities, and future-ready talent.Get to know our organization – Click on the below links:1Company Website 2Zydus Corporate ParkRole : Head-Commercial FinanceAdministrative Reporting : SVP-Sales (India & ISC) Functional Reporting : CFO Location : AhmedabadRole Purpose Providing a robust backend support to the Sales team to facilitate business growth, contribute to sustainability and profitability of business Ensuring adherence to and implementation of key financial systems and processes of the Company and ensuring maitenance of a high standard of Financial Hygiene at the sales operations level.Key Responsibilities:Financial Analyze financial performance and identify areas for cost optimization and profitability improvement Lead pricing strategies, margin management, and ROI analysis for new product launches and marketing initiatives Customer All India (Customer Enrolment to Exit such as timely renewals, hygiene adherence on distributor management system, 100% invoicing, claim settlement, IT Tool implementation, Compliances etc.) Oversee delivery on customer ROI KPI across all branches and channels Coordinate with Central Tax Team to harmonize the statutory compliances both in the direct and indirect tax segments Process Identify and implement process improvement and cost saving initiatives across all operations of commercial finance Implement strong financial controls and ensure adherence to corporate policies and compliance standards. Optimize financial processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in reporting and analysis. Lead financial evaluations for business cases, partnerships, and commercial agreements. People Overseeing channel health, profitability and its financial structuring to drive growth Manage and mentor the commercial finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Engage with cross-functional leaders to align financial goals with business objectivesKey Deliverables: Achieve targeted revenue growth and profitability through robust financial strategies Accurate and timely financial reporting, budgets, and forecasts Effective management of commercial risks and opportunitiesKey Interactions:Internal CFO, Sales and Marketing Heads, Supply Chain and Operations Heads, Senior Management Team External External Auditors, Financial Institutions, Regulatory AuthoritiesKey Dimensions:Financial Dimensions Managing the commercial finance budget and ensuring effective utilization of financial resources Driving margin management and cost optimization Team Direct Reports: Team constituting Branch Commercial Finance, Direct Account Finance, Trade and Third-Party related Finance and Modern Trade Finance resourceRole Requirements:Educational Qualifications CA/MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution Additional finance certifications (e.g. CFA) are preferredExperience (Type & Nature) 12+ years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing commercial finance in FMCG or related industries Proven track record in driving financial strategies, budgeting and partnering with commercial teamsFunctional Competencies Expertise in financial planning, analysis, and strategy development Strong knowledge of commercial finance principles, pricing strategies, and profitability management Proficiency in financial modeling and data analyticsBehavioral Competencies Zydus Neev Behavioral Competency Framework Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams Attention to detail and a strategic approach to cost management
