Role Summary We are seeking to recruit an ambitious and dynamic BIM Modeller to join the Integrated Complementary Resource Centre GCC AU India BIM team in Bengaluru to work alongside our AU Rail disciplines. The successful candidate will be working in a team environment to develop and deliver projects through various stages of design, from feasibility to planning/detailed design and construction. Modelling the Telecommunication cabinets & Equipment’s layout for metro station technical rooms, ensuring compliance with space optimisation, safety, and industry standards. knowledge and experience of Modelling projects of railway telecommunication for CCTV, PAS, PIDS, OFC network, IP Telephony, Access control, CTC/OCC Systems for Railway networks.Responsibilities Prepare schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings using industry-standard tools. Coordinate with signalling, power, and civil teams to ensure seamless integration of telecom systems. Prepare Telecom block, diagrams, wiring diagrams, cable schedule, location plans, cable routing layouts, equipment specifications/data sheets /Technical Bid Evaluations. You will be working and supporting a range of infrastructure schemes to independently develop engineering BIM models and drawings under the relevant standards. You will be expected to play a proactive part in the design process and be active on several projects at any given time. You will be contributing to all types of projects. You will be using Revit, ACC, 3D MicroStation, AECOsim / OpenBuilding Designer, ProjectWise, AutoCAD, iTwin and other engineering BIM software for the production and development of models and drawings. You will read and adhere to all relevant policies and procedures for Health and Safety, including the H&S Policy, H&S Manual, and Local Procedures Manual You will take responsibility for your own personal development with the support of the line manager and follow an agreed development plan. You will assist in the development of others in the team. Key Competencies / Skills Ability to utilise Revit, ACC, 3D MicroStation, AECOsim / OpenBuilding, ProjectWise, AutoCAD in adherence to defined CAD & BIM standards to develop 3D modelling, layouts, labelling, dimensioning, sheet layout, design details and other appropriate design concepts. Ability to read and interpret 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models to assist with investigations of engineering problems. Proven ability to work up drawings (plans, sections & details) from the engineer's basic sketches to full working drawings. Ability to liaise with the design teams as necessary to coordinate design and drawing production. Capable of multi-tasking and managing multiple projects with the ability to accurately predict the time required to fulfil the individual scopes of work required. Assists with establishing, maintaining and enforcing the use of proper CAD & BIM standards and procedures. Undertake reviews of work produced by others to ensure high quality of CAD output. AU / any International Rail project experience and working knowledge of International design standards. You should be able to demonstrate some experience and working knowledge of relevant technical design guidance and standards, such as ISO 19650, Uniclass 2015 etc., You should be able to understand and communicate BIM and CAD standards for use on Rail engineering projects and possess an appropriate overall level of knowledge of the AU/ International infrastructure design sector. Proficient in the use of standard office software. Experience in supervising and coordinating the CAD output of others within a multidisciplinary project environment. Commitment to work as part of a design team focused on project delivery. Good understanding and knowledge of Multi-Discipline Rail Projects Good written and verbal communication skills.Qualifications At least one key area such as a Diploma/Engineering in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil Engineering, with 7-10 years relevant work experience in Revit/Bentley/Autodesk BIM Software. Excellent working knowledge of Civil Core knowledge of 3D Revit / MicroStation/AECOsim / OpenBuilding Designer (any 3D skillset is sufficient). Good working knowledge of the relevant Metro Rail discipline.
