Job Title:Fashion Designer / Apparel DesignerLocation:Remote Experience:8–15 years Employment Type:Full-time / Part-time / Freelancer About the RoleWe are looking for a creative, passionate, and detail-orientedFashion / Apparel Designerto join our growing team atDazra Fashions . The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of current fashion trends, excellent design sensibility, and the ability to translate ideas intocommercially successful, production-ready products . Key ResponsibilitiesCreate new design concepts and collections based on market trends and buyer requirements Develop detailedtech packs, sketches, and design sheetsfor production Coordinate withbuyers, merchandisers, sourcing, and production teams Select appropriatefabrics, trims, colors, and accessories Work closely with the sampling team forfit, quality, and design approvals Conduct ongoingtrend research(colors, silhouettes, fabrics, seasonal themes) Maintain and update alldesign documentation and archives Ensure designs meetcosting, timelines, and brand standards Designing Tools & Technical Skills (Must-Have)Adobe Illustrator (advanced) Adobe Photoshop Corel Draw TUKAcad / Gerber / CLO3D (any 3D or CAD tool is a strong plus) MS Excel / Google Sheets (for line sheets & costing) Ability to create: Flat sketches Tech packs Size specs & measurement charts BOM (Bill of Materials) Design & Industry Knowledge RequiredStrong knowledge ofgarment construction & pattern basics Understanding offabrics, yarns, GSM, washes, finishes, and trims Awareness ofmanufacturing processes(knits/wovens) Knowledge offit standards, grading, and sampling cycles Good sense ofcolor theory, prints, and surface design Understanding ofbuyer compliance and quality standards Experience working withexport / retail / D2C brandsis a plus Soft SkillsStrong communication and presentation skills Excellent time management & attention to detail Ability to work independently in a remote environment Team player with a commercial mindset EducationBachelor’s / Master’s in: Fashion Design / Costume Design / Textile Design or related field LanguagesEnglish (required) Tamil (preferred) How to ApplyInterested candidates can share theirresume + portfolioat: prabhu@orDM directly on LinkedIn
