We’re Hiring: Telephony Engineer – Vonage Experience:5+ YearsJob Summary We are looking for an experiencedTelephony Engineerwith strong expertise inVonage telephony systemsto design, implement, and supportenterprise-grade communication solutions . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud-based telephony platforms, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities Design, develop, configure, and supportscalable and reliable communication solutionsusingVonage Communications APIs Integratevoice and messaging services (SMS/MMS)into existing platforms Develop and maintainrobust backend services and APIs , ensuring high availability and resilience Troubleshoot integration issues and ensuresecure, reliable communication services Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions Performsystem monitoring, upgrades, patching, and health checks ProvideL2/L3 supportfor telephony-related incidents and service requests Document system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides Ensure compliance withsecurity, performance, and reliability standards Coordinate with vendors and service providers for issue resolution and enhancementsRequired Skills & Qualifications 5+ yearsof experience as a Telephony Engineer or in a similar role Strong hands-on experience withVonage telephony systems(Vonage Business, Vonage Communications APIs, or Contact Center solutions) Proficiency in backend programming languages such asJava, C#, or Python Strong understanding ofRESTful APIs, webhooks, and asynchronous processing Solid knowledge ofVoIP technologiesincludingSIP, RTP, PBX, and call routing Experience withcloud-based telephony and unified communications platforms Excellentverbal and written communication skills Ability to workindependently with minimal supervision Strong analytical and troubleshooting skillsPreferred / Nice-to-Have Skills Experience integratingCRM or third-party systemsusing Vonage or Twilio APIs Experience designing microservices usingJava 17+ and Spring Boot 3.x Exposure tocontact center solutionsand call analytics/reporting Knowledge ofITIL processesand incident management RelevantVoIP or Unified Communications certificationsInterested candidates can apply priyanka.tiwari@
