Dear Applicants,Greetings from Hindustan Platinum !!Role Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated, well-organized Synthetic Organometallic Chemist with strong expertise in homogeneous catalysis and organic synthesis. The role involves the design, synthesis, optimization, and characterization of organometallic complexes for catalytic applications across pharmaceuticals, agriculture, and specialty chemicals.Key Responsibilities:Design, execute, and optimize the synthesis of organometallic complexes for catalytic applications Conduct and optimize catalytic reactions using parallel reactors (HTS) Monitor reactions using GC-MS, HPLC/MS, and high-resolution NMR Perform isolation and purification of organometallic and organic compounds under inert conditions Handle air-sensitive chemistry using Schlenk lines, glove boxes, inert filtration, recrystallization, etc. Independently conduct literature and patent searches to support innovation Contribute to intellectual property creation (patents and trade secrets) Publish scientific papers under the guidance of senior leadership Prepare and deliver technical presentations (internal and external) Collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams while maintaining high standards of business ethics Required Qualifications:PhD in Chemistry from a well-recognized institution Strong background in homogeneous catalysis and organometallic chemistry Proven expertise in organic synthesis Hands-on experience with air-sensitive techniques (Schlenk line, glove box operations) Proficiency in analytical and characterization tools: GC-MS HPLC/MS High-resolution NMR Preferred Experience :2- 3 years of post-doctoral experience in academia or industry in relevant areas Prior experience in catalyst development for pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, or specialty chemicals Skills & CompetenciesStrong experimental planning and problem-solving skills Excellentwritten and oral communication , including PowerPoint presentations Ability to work independently and as ateam player High integrity and strong professional ethicsInterested candidates can share resume on :simranjeet.sohal@
