Profile We seek a Passionate, Dynamic, and Creative Team member to handle the Warranty analysis of EnginesOverview of the role:Conduct detailedfailure analysisof engine components returned under warranty (e.g., pistons, valves, crankshafts, cylinder heads, injectors). Reviewservice reports, return part inspection findings , and customer usage conditions to support root cause identification. Apply structuredproblem-solving methodologiessuch as 5 Whys, Fishbone (Ishikawa), and Fault Tree Analysis. Analyzewarranty claim datato identify recurring issues, part failure trends, and field reliability concerns. Usedata analytics tools(Excel, Power BI. etc) to generate dashboards, Pareto charts, and trend graphs. Collaborate with Product Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Field Service teams to resolve chronic engine issues. Develop and trackCorrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)for recurring problems. Assist in validating the effectiveness of implemented solutions through field performance monitoring. Participate inDesign Reviews, DFMEA, PFMEA , and continuous improvement initiatives with a focus on field issues. Interface with suppliers and internal labs formaterial, metallurgical , anddimensional analysisof failed parts. Document all analysis outcomes in structuredtechnical reportswith root cause, evidence, and recommendations. Trackissue resolution and closure status , and ensure timely communication of progress to stakeholders. Provide technical support to the service network on engine-related failures and corrective measuresSpecial knowledge – Failed part analysis GD & T Knowledge Material analysis Leadership/Management quality Proficient in MS Office Knowledge on Automotive Components and functions Basic Data analysis using Excel Good communication skillsQualifications – BE/B Tech/Diploma - Any stream from a reputed college 8 Year Experience in any automotive industry
