With a current headcount of over 1000 employees, MGS India has plans to significantly ramp-up its growth over the next 18-24 months while servicing MUFG’s global network across Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific”About the Role: Position Title: Data & Cloud Security – AVP Job Profile Position details: To ensure effective management and control of Cyber Security, IT and information risk for MUFG EMEA entities by ensuring all appropriate Security, IT and relevant controls are in place, that these controls are being followed and that this is evidenced across the whole business and IT department. The role will involve liaising with the other Cyber Security and IT functions within the MUFG EMEA business entities and MUFG group to ensure a consistent approach to all controls, standards and policies is adopted across the organization. To ensure all necessary Cyber Security controls are in place and that an appropriate strategy to protect the firm from all Cyber, external and internal threats is defined and being implemented. To develop, implement and manage compliance with appropriate IS and Cyber Security policies, standards, procedures. To support the relationship and associated reporting requirements between Technology and internal and external bodies e.g. auditors, management committees, Tokyo head office, regulators (via Compliance), Operational Risk.Roles and Responsibilities: In this role, you will support the delivery and operation of Data & Cloud Security capabilities (as part of Cyber Security) across the organization’s banking and securities environments. You will work under the guidance of senior engineers and managers while taking ownership of defined security operations and analysis activities. Support the implementation and operation of NIST, ISO27001/27002 and CIS-aligned security controls, policies, and standards. Assist in monitoring and managing Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) and other cloud security tooling across multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI). Perform hands-on analysis of cloud security alerts, vulnerabilities, and misconfigurations using integrated workflows (e.g., ServiceNow). Support container and workload security controls for cloud native and containerized environments. Assist in reviewing cloud architectures and designs to identify security gaps and recommend mitigations. Support Data Protection technologies including DLP and Data Access Governance through policy configuration, alert analysis, and tuning. Participate in cyber security reviews of on-prem, cloud, and third-party systems under supervision. Support operational risk activities, including evidence gathering, issue tracking, and remediation follow ups. Assist with audit and regulatory requests, ensuring timely and accurate responses. Maintain up to date knowledge of cyber security threats, regulations, and best practices.Essential: Degree or equivalent in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline. 6+ years of experience in Cloud, Information, or Cyber Security roles. Working knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) and cloud security fundamentals. Familiarity with security frameworks and regulations such as ISO27001, NIST, CIS, GDPR. Hands-on experience monitoring security alerts and analysing security events. Exposure to DLP, CSPM, vulnerability management, or SIEM tools. Strong analytical skills with the ability to document and communicate findings clearly. Ability to work under guidance while taking ownership of assigned tasks.
