Job Title:Engineering Lead – IoT Appliances Experience : 8–12 Years Location : Noida, IndiaAbout Role : We are looking for an Engineering Lead – IoT Appliances who will own end-to-end system architecture and lead a team of engineers delivering connected appliance products such as smart heaters, geysers, kitchen appliances, and water purifiers.Roles and Responsibilities : • Lead and manage the engineering team responsible for IoT product development, focusing on RTOS, MQTT, and RESTful APIs. • Supervise the design, development, and testing of hardware and software components, ensuring performance, security, and reliability. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, cloud services, and mobile app development, to align efforts and achieve business objectives. • Oversee the integration of BLE and Wi-Fi connectivity in smart devices and manage queuing systems for device communication. • Drive continuous improvement in product development methodologies and engineering processes, adopting best practices in Agile and DevOps. • Ensure timely delivery of products while maintaining high-quality standards. • Mentor, train, and develop the engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in IoT, analyzing their potential for incorporation into product offerings.Skills and Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. • 8+ years of experience in embedded systems, IoT product development, with a focus on RTOS and connectivity protocols. • Proven experience leading engineering teams and managing complex projects. • Strong knowledge of MQTT, RESTful APIs and cloud connectivity. • Familiarity with Espressif modules (e.g., WROOM series) and associated development environments. • Experience with mobile app development for iOS and Android platforms is a plus. • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities.
