Job Description

Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough AML, Sanctions, and KYC screening of customer and third parties via screening tool at periodic intervals. Review and verify the authenticity and validity of supporting documentation (client identification documents, corporate records etc.) and assess risk profiles to ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations. Analyse client and third-party screening reports to validate identified matches. Obtain and review bank statements and share certificates from clients to confirm their source of funds. Request and assess KYC questionnaires from clients and third parties, via the relevant departments. Conduct enhanced due diligence (if required) based on risk profile of the customer/ third party. Disposition screening matches after satisfactory completion of due diligence/ enhanced due diligence while ensuring all positive matches are escalated internally. Collaborate and coordinate across various business vertical and cross-functional teams including Internal Audit, Legal, Finance, CS Contracts, Collections, CRM, Sales Department etc. to facilitate compliance review and approval processes. Maintain accurate records and prepare periodic management reports related to compliance screening and approvals. Monitor ongoing customer and third-party activities for suspicious transactions or potential financial crime risks. Sound knowledge of AML/ Sanctions/ Financial Crime remediation and program design Demonstrable experience in researching, collating, analysing and delivering intelligence analysis and written reports. Experience of developing and delivering compliance training and awareness sessions. Qualifications Minimum of Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic background, preferable in Compliance, Internal Audit or Risk. Certifications ACAMS (Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialist) is mandatory. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience with a focus on Compliance, Governance and Financial Crime (AML & Sanctions) within a regulated industry, preferably in Real Estate/ DNFBP. In-depth knowledge of end-to-end AML, Sanctions and KYC compliance requirements. Exceptional analytical, research, and communication skills. Proficiency in compliance screening tools and reporting systems. IT proficiency across the MS365 suite of products. Knowledge of PowerBi reporting will be considered as an added advantage.
