We believe in making one small change (atomic) at a time so that the cumulative effect of all the changes delivers massive impact.The Role We are seeking a seasoned Technical Databricks Projects Delivery Leader to lead our delivery operations in India. In this role you will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of enterprise- scale Databricks projects, from scoping and pre-sales support through solutioning, delivery execution, customer success and practice expansion. You will work across multiple customers, act as the technical lead and program manager, and ensure delivery excellence, profitability and customer delight. You will join a high velocity team, have autonomy to make decisions, and shape how we execute and scale our Databricks practice out of India.What you will be doing ● Lead and manage the delivery of multiple concurrent Databricks engagements (migration, modernization, analytics, Lakehouse) in India and across geographies. ● Engage in project scoping, estimation, solution architecture review, and transition from sales/offer stage to delivery. ● Define delivery approach, governance, milestones, risk mitigation strategies, and quality assurance for each project. ● Act as the technical & program lead: align solution design with Databricks best practices, oversee data engineering and data platform teams, ensure scalable and performant architectures. ● Manage project financials: track revenue, margins, utilization, forecasting, billing and invoicing for engagements delivered out of India. ● Build and sustain strong customer relationships at executive and delivery levels: ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded, drive incremental value, handle escalations. ● Collaborate with onshore/offshore teams, build delivery-ready frameworks, accelerators, reusable components, internal tooling to increase efficiency and margin. ● Mentor and grow a delivery team in India: hire, coach, upskill, promote, and embed a culture of excellence, continuous improvement and accountability. ● Contribute to practice growth: help identify business development opportunities, support pre-sales conversations with technical input, align with global practice strategy for Databricks. ● Drive thought leadership: organize/lead internal knowledge-sharing, define best practices for Databricks migrations, speak at customer/industry events, contribute to internal IP.The skills & experience you will bring Must-haves: ● 10+ years of experience in delivering large scale data platforms or analytics programs, ideally with 5+ years leading data engineering/modernization/deliveries in a cloud/Databricks environment.● Hands-on technical understanding of Databricks (Lakehouse architecture, Spark, Delta Lake, Streaming/Batch pipelines), plus experience in at least one major cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP). ● Strong program/project management skills: able to manage multiple streams, define governance, mitigate risk, ensure quality and track metrics. ● Excellent customer-facing skills: able to engage with C-suite/VPs, translate technical issues into business implications, manage escalations, ensure stakeholder satisfaction. ● Team leadership & people development: hiring, mentoring, building high-performance teams, especially in India. ● Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in English; comfortable working in a global delivery context. ● Consulting mindset: flexible, adaptable in a fast-paced environment, self-motivated, comfortable with ambiguity and change.Preferred: ● Experience with migrations from legacy platforms (Teradata, Oracle, Talend, Informatica) to Databricks. ● Certifications in Databricks. ● Experience building reusable frameworks/accelerators and internal IP for data platforms. ● Prior experience working in services/consulting organization or data-modernization practice. ● Familiarity with the India delivery ecosystem, working with offshore teams, managing delivery from India, building India-based operations.What we offer ● Excellent compensation, including performance-based bonuses and benefits (adapted for India region). ● Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies (Databricks) and with global Fortune 500 customers. ● A global, collaborative team environment with high autonomy and influence.
