TheAir Export Pricing & Operations Specialistis responsible for supporting and growing Beeontrade’sU.S. air export businessfrom our India back office, in accordance with corporate objectives (revenue & profit targets, product growth initiatives, service standards, etc.). This role is themain pricing and operations contactfor air export RFQs from the U.S. market. You will buildfast, accurate air export quotations , follow through tobooking and file opening , and coordinate with carriers, agents, and internal teams to ensure compliance (includingTSA and airline requirements ) and flawless execution. You are ahighly motivated airfreight professionalwith strongU.S. air export operations and pricing experience , capable of working at speed without sacrificing accuracy. You know that in airfreight,minutes matter , and you’re wired to respond quickly, follow up relentlessly, and close the loop fromquote → booking → file → uplift .You will Own Air Export Pricing for U.S. Trade Lanes Receive and qualify air export RFQs from the U.S. Sales, Account Management, and Customer Service teams. Build and sendfast, competitive, and profitable quotesto customers and agents within agreed SLAs (often within minutes). Optimize formaximum net revenuewhile staying realistic and aligned with market conditions and carrier constraints. Maintain and update internal pricing sheets, lane guides, and rate matrices for U.S. outbound air. Execute End-to-End Air Export Operations (Back Office) Once a quote is accepted,convert the quote into a live job : open the air export file in Beeontrade’s TMS, ensure complete and correct data capture. Coordinate with U.S. local partners/teams onpickups, linehaul, and terminal deliveries . Liaise with carriers, co-loaders, and consolidators forspace confirmation, bookings, and uplift schedules . Monitor shipments from pickup to departure, escalating issues promptly to the U.S. Operations or Account Management teams. Ensure TSA & Regulatory Compliance Work withinTSA, airline, and local regulatory rulesfor U.S. air exports, ensuring all security and documentation requirements are met before tender. Coordinate with U.S. partners regardingKnown Shipper status, screening, and security protocols . Ensure accurate and compliant data for MAWB/HAWB, invoices, packing lists, and any applicable export documentation. Collaborate with Sales & Account Management Work closely with BeeontradeSales, Account Management, and Product teamsto shape pricing strategies and win rates on target lanes. Support strategic RFQs and tenders, assembling pricing, routings, transit times, and service options that match customer needs. Provideclear reasoningbehind pricing decisions (market levels, capacity constraints, special handling, etc.). Be the Market & Carrier Expert for Air Export Maintainfull transparency on current airfreight rate levels(buy and sell) with core carriers and co-loaders on key U.S. routes. Regularly collect and consolidatefirst-hand feedbackfrom internal “business owners” (Sales, AMs, Ops) about customer reactions, won/lost deals, and service issues. Share structuredmarket intelligenceon capacity, rate fluctuations, lane performance, and competitor moves. Drive Data Quality & Process Discipline Ensurehigh-quality data managementin pricing tools, spreadsheets, TMS/WMS and any other Beeontrade systems used. Support short-term and long-termpricing exercises , margin analysis, lane profitability reviews, and continuous improvement. Help design and refinebest-practice workflowsfor air export pricing and operations with the Pricing, Sales, and Operations teams. Support Revenue, Profit & KPI Delivery Contribute directly to achievingannual air export revenue, profit, and volume targetsfor the U.S. trade lanes. Track and report onresponse times, hit ratios (quote-to-win), GP per kilo, and lane performance . Participate inweekly cross-functional callsacross Pricing, Sales, and Operations to review performance, bottlenecks, and opportunities. Communicate & Coordinate Across Time Zones Operate as a night-shift back-office partner to the U.S. team, ensuringreal-time responsivenessduring U.S. business hours. Maintainclear, concise written and verbal communicationin English with internal and external stakeholders. Participate in internal trainings, knowledge-sharing sessions, and process improvement discussions.WHAT YOU WILL NEED 5+ years of prior Air Freight experienceat a top freight forwarder or carrier, with astrong focus on U.S. air export operations & pricing . Experience handlingair export files from the U.S. , including bookings, MAWB/HAWB creation, and TSA/security compliance, is strongly preferred. Proven ability tobuild and manage air export quotations(express, standard, deferred, consolidations) and convert them into profitable business. Strong understanding of: Carrier & co-loader rate structures Surcharges (FSC, SSC, security, screening, etc.) Airport-to-airport vs. door-to-door solutions Transit time vs. cost trade-offs Bias to action, process, structure, and data– you work fast, but you also document and follow clear steps. Excellentcommunication, interpersonal, and organizational skills . High attention to detail and accuracy, especially under time pressure. Anobsession with client happiness & reliability– you know your performance directly impacts customer trust. Willingness and ability to worknight shift in India aligned with U.S. hours . Courage tochallenge the status quoand suggest better ways to price, route, or execute. See something broken? You fix it or propose a solution.
