Role Description The Associate Consultant Nephrologist will provide clinical care for patients with kidney‑related diseases and collaborate with senior consultants and multidisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic assessments, prescribing treatments, and managing chronic kidney disease patients. The role also involves participation in patient rounds, monitoring dialysis protocols, and addressing patient queries. This is a full‑time, on‑site position located in Siliguri, where the incumbent will work closely with the medical team to uphold AINU’s high standards in kidney care. Qualifications Board‑certified or eligible in Nephrology, with relevant postgraduate qualifications (DM/DNB in Nephrology preferred). Proficiency in diagnosing and treating kidney diseases, including acute and chronic conditions. Skills in performing and interpreting dialysis procedures, kidney biopsies, and related nephrological interventions. Strong patient‑centered communication, consultation, and counseling skills. Commitment to teamwork and contributing to multidisciplinary medical teams. Experience in managing kidney transplant patients is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to work in high‑pressure environments and provide critical care when necessary. Passion for patient care and a commitment to staying updated with advancements in nephrology.
