Job Title: Senior Gynecologist / Obstetrician & Gynecologist (OB-GYN) Hospital Type: Reputed Multispecialty Hospital Location: Purnia, Bihar Employment Type: Full-time / Consultant Job Summary A reputed multispecialty hospital in Purnia, Bihar is seeking a highly experienced and competent Gynecologist to provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care. The ideal candidate must be capable of independently managing OPD, inpatient cases, normal deliveries, and Caesarean sections (C-sections) , along with handling emergency and high-risk obstetric cases. Key Responsibilities Independently conduct normal deliveries and Caesarean sections (LSCS) Manage routine and high-risk pregnancies Provide antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care Handle obstetric emergencies including eclampsia, PPH, and complicated labor Diagnose and treat gynecological disorders Perform gynecological procedures and minor surgeries Manage OPD consultations and inpatient care Counsel patients on family planning, contraception, and reproductive health Maintain accurate medical records and case documentation Coordinate with anesthetists, pediatricians, and nursing staff Ensure adherence to hospital policies, medical ethics, and patient safety protocols Experience & Skill Requirements Minimum 2+ years of post-qualification experience mandatory Proven expertise in independently handling deliveries and C-sections Strong clinical decision-making and emergency management skills Excellent communication and patient counseling abilities Leadership qualities and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team Commitment to ethical and patient-centered medical practice Eligibility Criteria MBBS with MD/MS/DNB in Obstetrics & Gynecology Valid NMC / State Medical Council registration Experience in a hospital or multispecialty setup preferred Salary & Benefits Annual Salary: ₹30 Lakh – ₹35 Lakh per annum Accommodation facility available (if required) Supportive working environment with modern infrastructure Long-term career growth and stability #J-18808-Ljbffr
