What we are looking for: We are seeking an experienced Frontend Developer with strong expertise in React.js to design and develop high-quality, scalable, and responsive web applications for the Oil & Gas industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of modern frontend technologies, UI/UX principles, and API integration, along with the ability to work in an agile environment. Experience in the Oil & Gas domain is beneficial but not mandatory. Key Responsibilities - Develop and maintain responsive web applications using React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3. - Implement reusable components and ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability. - Integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL services for seamless data exchange between frontend and backend systems. - Optimize API calls for performance and responsiveness. - Work closely with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and design specifications into functional interfaces. - Ensure a consistent and visually appealing user experience across devices. - Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks. - Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility. - Conduct unit testing and debugging of frontend components. - Ensure high-quality deliverables through automated testing and CI/CD practices. - Collaborate with backend developers, QA teams, and stakeholders. - Participate in agile ceremonies (Scrum/Kanban) and contribute to continuous improvement. - Stay updated with emerging frontend technologies and best practices. - Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions. Requirements - Minimum 5+ years of experience in frontend development. - Proven track record of building complex web applications using React.js. - Strong proficiency in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles. - Familiarity with state management libraries (Redux, Context API). - Experience with API integration (REST/GraphQL). - Knowledge of build tools and version control (Webpack, Git). - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work in a dynamic, semi-structured environment. - Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Good to Have: - Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) - Experience with Docker and cloud platforms (Azure preferred) - Experience working with dashboards and data visualisation
