We're on the hunt for a passionate Level Designer to help craft the living, breathing world of our upcoming RPG! Zenith Studio LLC is building an ambitious, narrative-driven fantasy RPG packed with meaningful exploration, dynamic quests, companion interactions, tense combat arenas, hidden secrets, and player choices that actually shape the world. We need someone who doesn’t just place walls and enemies — you design spaces that tell stories, create memorable moments, and make players say “just one more dungeon…” What you’ll be doing day-to-day:Design and block out immersive levels: towns & villages, sprawling wilderness, intricate dungeons, epic boss arenas, quest hubs, and secret areas Create compelling gameplay flow, pacing, combat encounters, exploration rewards, and narrative beats Build, light, and iterate levels directly in Unity (scene management, NavMesh, triggers, cinematics, world streaming) Work hand-in-hand with Narrative, Gameplay Designers, Environment Artists, and Programmers to bring the vision to life Prototype new mechanics and systems inside levels Playtest, balance difficulty & flow, and polish until the levels feel magical Help define the overall world layout and vertical slice standardsWhat we’re looking for:3+ years of professional Level Design experience (games preferred, especially RPGs, action-adventure, or open-world titles) Strong portfolio/demo with: Video walkthroughs or playthroughs of your levels Before/after blockouts Clear design intent and player journey breakdownsExcellent Unity skills (Unity 2022+ / 6 preferred) — you should be very comfortable building and iterating in-engine Deep understanding of RPG level design principles: reward loops, exploration vs. combat pacing, quest integration, environmental storytelling Love for fantasy RPGs (think Baldur’s Gate 3, Elden Ring, Dragon Age, The Witcher 3, Divinity: Original Sin 2, Hades, Raji etc.)Nice-to-have bonuses:Experience with Unity Terrain, ProBuilder, or custom editor tools Knowledge of world streaming / open-world techniques Procedural generation or level scripting experience Familiarity with cinematic tools (Timeline / Sequencer) Ability to do simple white-box lighting & basic VFX placementHow to apply: Send your Level Design portfolio (PDF or website with video walkthroughs), CV, and a short note telling us: → Your favourite RPG level ever and why the design works so well → Which part of our project excites you most How to Apply: Click apply button or DM.
