Role Description We are seeking an experienced  Structural Design Engineer  to lead and manage the structural design aspects of residential and commercial projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and approving structural designs, coordinating with architects and site teams, and ensuring adherence to safety standards and design codes. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in RCC and structural steel design using relevant software and IS codes. Requirements: Experience: 4 to 12 years (Construction industry /Consultancy) Job location: Sompura Gate, Sarjapur Main Road, Bengaluru, Karnataka 562125. Qualification: Education: B.E / B.Tech or M.E / M.Tech in Civil or Structural Engineering Office Timing: 10 AM to 6:30PM Roles and Responsibilities: Prepare, review, and finalize structural design and drawings for residential and commercial projects. Perform design calculations for RCC, steel, and foundation structures in compliance with Indian and international codes. Conduct structural analysis and modeling using design software such as STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAFE, or equivalent tools. Coordinate with architects, MEP, and site execution teams to ensure seamless design integration. Review and approve structural drawings, BOQs, and design documentation. Provide technical guidance and solutions to site engineers during construction. Conduct design verification and value engineering to optimize materials and cost without compromising safety. Review contractor or consultant design submissions and ensure compliance with project specifications. Prepare detailed design reports, structural calculations, and technical documentation for management and clients. Participate in project review meetings and provide structural insights for planning and execution. Ensure all designs adhere to relevant IS codes, NBC, and safety standards. Support project management and procurement teams with technical evaluations and structural clarifications Technical Skills Required: Proficiency in structural design software: STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAFE, AutoCAD, Revit (preferred). Strong understanding of IS codes, NBC, and other international structural design standards. Sound knowledge of structural analysis, RCC, steel design, and foundation systems. Ability to prepare BOQs, reinforcement detailing, and construction drawings. Familiarity with real estate construction practices and project coordination workflows.
