Role Overview Lex Corp is expanding its disputes team and seeks a Managing Associate with strong independent litigation capability and leadership potential. This is a senior-level, leadership-track position for professionals committed to building a sustained career in high-stakes corporate and commercial disputes. The role requires courtroom confidence, strategic depth, drafting precision, and the ability to supervise and mentor junior associates while maintaining direct client engagement. Key Responsibilities - Independently manage complex commercial litigation before High Courts, Commercial Courts, NCLT/NCLAT, DRT/DRAT, and Arbitral Tribunals (Domestic & International). - Formulate and execute litigation and arbitration strategy aligned with client objectives. - Draft, settle, and review pleadings, written submissions, applications, rejoinders, and arbitration documentation. - Handle matters under the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code and related recovery proceedings. - Argue interim matters and assist in final hearings where required. - Supervise and mentor junior associates; ensure quality control and procedural accuracy in filings. - Maintain structured client communication and periodic case reporting. - Ensure strict adherence to court timelines, statutory compliance, and internal process discipline. - Contribute to practice development and long-term team growth. Eligibility & Qualifications - LL.B. from a recognised university (LL.M. preferred but not mandatory). - Minimum 7+ years of relevant litigation experience in corporate/commercial disputes. - Demonstrated experience in High Court, NCLT/NCLAT, arbitration, or commercial litigation matters. - Strong drafting skills with command over pleadings and procedural strategy. - Sound understanding of corporate law, arbitration law, insolvency law, and commercial procedure. - Ability to independently handle matters with minimal supervision. - Strong analytical ability, commercial awareness, and structured problem-solving approach. - Enrolment with the Bar Council of India.
