Position: Accountant Location: Mugappair West, Chennai (On-site) Experience Required: Minimum 5 years Employment Type: Full-time Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day accounting operations including ledger maintenance, bank reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing Handle import documentation accounting, Letter of Credit (LC) entries, and foreign currency transactions Prepare financial statements, GST returns (including IGST on imports), TDS filings, and customs duty compliance Manage accounts payable/receivable, vendor payments (domestic & international), and customer billing Coordinate with banks for forex transactions, remittances, and trade finance documentation Reconcile inventory records with physical stock and manage warehouse accounting Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), FEMA regulations, and company policies RequirementsEducation: / / CA Inter / CMA (Inter or Final) Experience: Minimum 5 years in accounting/finance roles, preferably in import/trading/stockist business Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tally ERP 9/Prime, MS Excel (advanced), GST portal, and income tax filings Soft Skills: Attention to detail, analytical thinking, integrity, and ability to work independently What We OfferCompetitive salary based on experience and qualifications Stable work environment in an established trading business Opportunity to handle diverse financial operations including international transactions How to ApplyInterested candidates meeting the above criteria may share their updated resume at pawn@
