Job Title: Senior Manager – Recruitment & Outreach (Full time)Location: Bangalore (Travel required)Reporting: Director / Head – Outreach & Student Recruitment (Dotted line reporting to the University / Campus Heads as required)Role Overview: The Senior Manager – Recruitment & Outreach will lead and execute school and college engagement strategies for a single university from the Emeritus university partners, with the objective of achieving and exceeding enrolment targets across undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The role requires a strong blend of strategic planning, field execution, relationship management, and data-driven decision-making.This individual will build and manage a high-impact outreach ecosystem involving schools, junior colleges, feeder colleges, counsellors, and other key influencers, while aligning closely with central admissions, marketing, and academic teams across the university group.Key Responsibilities:1. Outreach Strategy & Planning ·Design and implement an annual school and college outreach strategy aligned with enrolment targets for each university and program within the group. ·Segment schools and colleges (Tier 1 / 2 / 3) based on historical yield, student quality, and strategic importance. ·Develop region-wise and program-wise outreach plans, including calendars for school visits, fairs, presentations, and events. ·Identify new feeder institutions and untapped geographies to expand the recruitment pipeline.2. School & College Engagement ·Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with: oSchool principals, heads, and counsellors oCollege leadership and placement/admissions teams oCareer counsellors and education influencers·Lead in-person and virtual outreach activities including: oSchool/college presentations and workshops oCareer talks, subject-specific sessions, and faculty lectures oParent information sessions and open houses ·Act as a senior representative of the university group during key outreach engagements.3. Enrolment Target Ownership ·Own enrolment pipelines generated through school and college outreach channels. ·Track leads, applications, offers, conversions, and enrolments from outreach activities. ·Work closely with admissions teams to ensure timely follow-ups, counselling, and offer management. ·Continuously optimise outreach efforts to improve conversion rates and ROI.4. Team Leadership & Management ·Build, train, and manage a team of junior Outreach Managers across regions. ·Set clear KPIs and performance metrics for the designated university outreach team (leads, applications, conversions, school coverage). ·Conduct regular reviews, field visits, and coaching to ensure execution excellence. ·Ensure consistency of messaging and brand representation across all outreach activities.5. Cross-Functional Collaboration ·Work closely with: oMarketing teams on campaigns, collateral & messaging for schools/ colleges oAdmissions teams on lead management, counselling, and conversion strategies oAcademic teams/faculty for outreach sessions and credibility-building workshops·Provide on-ground market insights to inform program positioning and recruitment strategies.6. Data, Reporting & Insights ·Maintain accurate outreach and enrolment data using CRM and reporting tools.·Prepare regular reports on: oOutreach coverage and activity effectiveness oLead-to-enrolment conversion metrics oRegion-wise and institution-wise performance·Use data and insights to refine outreach strategies and recommend improvements.7. Brand Representation & Compliance ·Ensure all outreach activities are aligned with brand guidelines and regulatory requirements. ·Uphold ethical recruitment practices and ensure transparency in student communications. ·Represent the university group professionally at all external engagements.Key Skills & Competencies ·Strong understanding of student recruitment funnels, particularly school and college outreach ·Proven ability to manage enrolment targets and conversion metrics ·Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills ·Strong people leadership and team management capabilities ·Data-driven mindset with comfort using CRMs and dashboards ·Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills ·High energy, execution-oriented, and comfortable with extensive travelQualifications & Experience ·Master’s degree preferred (MBA, Education Management, Marketing, or related field) ·8–12+ years of experience in student recruitment, outreach, admissions, or education sales·Prior experience working with: oUniversities, education groups, or international education providers oSchool outreach, college partnerships, or counsellor networks·Experience managing regional or multi-institution recruitment portfolios is a strong advantageSuccess Metrics (Indicative) ·Achievement of enrolment targets from outreach channels ·Growth in high-quality feeder schools and colleges ·Improvement in lead-to-enrolment conversion rates ·Outreach team performance and coverage effectiveness ·Strength and longevity of institutional relationships
