The Associate will handle a range of legal responsibilities, including legal drafting, research, and assisting in matters related to litigation, arbitration, and media and entertainment law (transaction and litigation). The role also involves representing clients in courts, preparing legal arguments, analysing legal cases, and providing strategic guidance to clients. The Associate will demonstrate the ability to be a swift learner and self starter, and will be expected to be of hands-on assistance to Associates, Senior Associates and Parters alike. The candidate should ideally be based out and reside in Mumbai.Qualifications 0-2 years' PQE preferably with demonstrable work experience and course credits indicating an inclination towards the Firm's core practice areas. Strong legal research and analytical skills, with the ability to navigate and interpret complex legal issues. Proficiency in legal drafting, including contracts, agreements, and documentation related to litigation and arbitration. Willingness to dive head-on into litigation and arbitration proceedings, including representing clients in court and preparing legal arguments. Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines concurrently. BLS, LL.B or other equivalent 5 year dual degree credentials from top-tier non-NLU's such as Government Law College, Mumbai, ILS Law College, Pune, or from a top tier NLU. Candidates from private law schools or from institutions other than those listed above will not be considered.
