Role DescriptionThis is afull-time on-site roleas aPlacement OfficeratIIBS Bengaluru . The Placement Officer will be responsible fordriving campus placements ,building industry connections ,conducting career counseling , andfacilitating internship and recruitment activitiesfor MBA and PGDM students. Note:This position isnot an HR role in a corporate company . Candidates are advised to applyonlyif they are genuinely interested in acampus placement and industry-connect rolewithin an educational institution. Key ResponsibilitiesSecure placement opportunities with top-tier companies offering roles in Finance, HR, Data Science, Analytics, IT Services, and Emerging Tech. Develop and maintain strong corporate relationships to achieve a minimum of10 company tie-ups per specialization per yearoffering aminimum CTC of ₹8 lakh p.a. Organize and coordinate on-campus/off-campus recruitment drives ,internship drives , andindustry engagement events . Providecareer counseling ,resume-building support , andmock interview trainingto students. Track and report placement statistics, trends, and employer feedback; ensure placement targets are achieved. Collaborate with academic departments to align training initiatives with industry requirements. Manage the placement database and ensure accurate, timely documentation. Stay updated onmarket and industry trendsrelevant to MBA/PGDM domains. QualificationsBachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field. Prior experience as aPlacement Officerin aB-School or Engineering Institutionishighly preferred . Proven exposure to corporate recruitment processes inFinance, HR, Marketing, IT, and Analytics sectors . Excellent communication, relationship-building, and time management skills. Strong commitment to student success and career development.
