Key ResponsibilitiesManaging a team of draughtsman and ensuring project deadlines are met.Reviewing and approving technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.Coordinating with engineers, architects, and project managers.Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.Improving drafting processes and implementing best practices.Training and mentoring junior draughtsman.Keeping up with advancements in CAD software and drafting techniques.Creating detailed technical drawings, blueprints, and 3D models using Auto-CAD softwareCollaborating with engineering and design teams to develop accurate and precise drawings that meet project specifications and requirementsReviewing and interpreting project documents, such as architectural drawings and engineering specifications, to ensure compliance with design standards and regulationsStaying updated with industry standards and advancements in Auto-CAD software to enhance design capabilities and efficiency.Strong knowledge of engineering and design principlesAbility to interpret project documents, such as architectural drawings and engineering specificationsExcellent attention to detail and ability to create accurate and precise drawingsStrong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholdersKey Competencies1. Technical Expertise:Proficiency in CAD software (Auto-CAD, Solid-works, Revit, or Dialux for lighting design).Strong knowledge of lighting design principles, luminaire drawings, and electrical schematics.Understanding of manufacturing processes for lighting components (sheet metal, injection molding, die casting, etc.).Knowledge of material selection for lighting fixtures and thermal management.Experience with BOM (Bill of Materials) creation and technical documentation.2. Industry Knowledge & Standards:Familiarity with lighting industry standards (IEC, ANSI, UL, BIS, etc.).Knowledge of photo-metric analysis and testing requirements.Awareness of energy efficiency regulations (LED efficacy, lumen output, power consumption).Understanding of IP ratings and safety compliance for different environments.3. Leadership & Team Management:Ability to lead and mentor a team of draughtsman and designers.Strong project management skills, ensuring timely completion of designs.Coordination with production, R&D, and sales teams for design feasibility.Problem-solving abilities in case of design or manufacturing challenges.4. Communication & Collaboration:Effective communication with engineers, suppliers, and clients.Ability to translate design concepts into manufacturing-ready drawings.Strong documentation skills for design specifications and approvals.5. Continuous Improvement & Innovation:Keeping up with new lighting technologies (LED advancements, smart lighting, IoT integration).Improving drafting processes for efficiency and accuracy.Implementing cost-saving measures without compromising quality.Education: Relevant diploma/degree in engineering, architecture, or design.((AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, etc.)Experience: 7-10 years in Engineering and designing , preferably in lighting or electrical components. 2 -3 Years Lead R&D TeamSkills: Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, etc.)Strong knowledge of engineering or architectural drafting principles.Leadership and project management skills.Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.Creativity, Mathematical Skill, active listening, Time management, Team work.Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.Location- Plant Site, Bhiwadi
